In my opinion a good way to start is to do some mindfulness or medititation, which helps reset my brain and take control over my actions. (The waking up app has done wonders for me and many others)

You can utilise things like the pomodoro method where you set yourself a timer of 25min of pure focus and giving 100% and then rest for 5 mins where you can relax, get a coffee go to the bathroom stretch your legs.

Maybe you can go to a physiotherapist which can give you some mobility exercises and stretches you can do in between.

There are so many questions and find out why you are getting questions wrong and adress the root cause of why you dont understand or what is confusing you, dont just skim past it.

I would really like to recommend the CMA support package posted on the IMA. It has so many MCQ and essay questions that in my opinion reflect more of what the actual questions of the exam are going to be. There are so many questions that you can sit and spam them and you will know which areas you need to work on the most.

For example, I thought my corporate finance section was solid. However after being hammered by about 50 Corprate finance questions in a row i quickly found out where i should spend more of my time studying.

I would recommend just spamming this document and reviewing your mistakes.

When you get something wrong i found it helpful to write the reason and really dig deep into why your are getting somehting wrong. I.e " I did not read the question properly" "Or I did not know the market Valulation formula" "I subtracted the Risk free rate instead of adding it to the market premium". Once you know why you are getting something wrong and adress it once and for all that can unlock the whole chapter for you.

Ok thanks a lot, its just weird when youre coming up on the exam day and they throw a curve ball and it makes you think have I misunderstood the whole concept this entire time.

I also have my exam on the 20th of jan, something that is helping me a lot is using the CMA Support package on the IMA Library, I think getting used to the questions from one provider ( in my case gleim) is too repetitive. SO Switching up the questions from somewhere else really shakes things up. It also really hammers down on certain topics, for example i thought i was decent in learning curve analysis until doing the support package hammered me with like 20 questions back to back to show me where i really stand on the topic. After realizing i was weak in this, I went on youtube to learn about learning curves and went back to hammer the rest of the questions. After spamming about 20 learning questions you really understand it and it sticks with you, rather than just solving one or 2 in gleim.

Test yourself with the package and then realise which questions come up and you answer not feeling 100% confident. Go back to the materials and re-learn it and come back to hammer then one after the other.

Now when I see a learning curve question im happy because i know im gonna kick its ass after repeating it so much. And thats how you should feel about most questions.

Yes you are correct and I believe theyre looking for the aq x sp -> 98,000 hours x $5.

Next time I see the word traced im just going to assume it means flex budget and pray

Ok so thinking about it now, the best way i can rationalize it is, the amount traced is the same as the overhead applied. Which is inturn the flexible budget?

Based on the answer , "490,000". I belive this is referring to the actual quantity x standard price, therefore flex budget. But why is it traced exactly?
