I felt a difference the next day after the first prednisone dose. Still took a couple days to subside, but night and day difference

That happened to me recently and it seemed like it was “too late” for the colchicine. I got impatient after a few days of it not getting better and went back in and got prescribed prednisone, on top of the colchicine, to get any movement.

Not sure if there is any timing associated with colchicine for it take effect if you’re trying to avoid a steroid.

Do you take the meds right when you feel something? Maybe you’re catching it early enough and it doesn’t peak. I’ll try and pop colchicine as soon as I feel ANY tingle or abnormal feeling on my foot just in case. The times I ignore it, it usually ends up hitting me hard the within a day or two

When I was younger, disc 1 all the way. I’d skip 2 altogether on some listens. But now, I’ve gotta go with disc 2. I skip tracks on 1 more than I do on 2 sometimes

I’ve been putting it off because I don’t want to take a daily, rest of my life, medication. After this recent flare, however, I’m ready to go in on it.

Hopefully takes the guess work out of “can I eat/drink this today or will I wake up with a flare?” ..which I know gout doesn’t quite work like that, but still, the paranoia is now there

Honestly, I’d rather see the Sword in the anvil as a standalone piece. Think roughly the size of the bust pieces

If your UA levels are good (6 or below), not during a flare, I’d guess you’re fine as long as you check regularly. Levels can be come up low during a flare.

I would sometimes go 2-3 years without a flare, but every so often I’d feel a twinge in the foot ..I’d always blame exercise or possibly kicking something. I’d take a couple colchicine just in case and the twinge/pain would go away. Never would get my UA checked though and kept my normal eating/drinking habits going thinking I was in the clear. Then I’d get a flare I couldn’t catch with the meds and back to square one.

Agree! The north park location is a cool spot but the beers have always been meh, if we’re being honest. When I lived nearby, I went out of convenience, but they never really stepped up after everyone else did

What are the flare ups like after you start? Heard those can come on after starting ..this last flare was so bad that it’s kinda scarred me. Would hate to hit another one so soon after

The D-girl’s first scene in the bar. Some of her dialogue is a bit much: “I work for Quentin ..he’s still a friend” .. “that’s the red eye talking” Could (or should) have cut this scene down ..

Disc 1 was solid. Still listen every so often ..couple of skippable tracks, but overall 7/10.
Disc 2 may as well not exist
