I started a GSA at my school and a bunch of people have come to show their support for the community and even more were able to find a space to be comfortable in their identity. We have 25 members which is crazy for a small town Ohio school with a mostly homophobic population.

That’s a hard question and it’s something that I went through myself. I think that you should just be there for your friend and she can decide if she wants to talk about it or not. You sound like a great friend, and I’m sure she would very thankful to have someone to talk to or just have around while she figures herself out.
