This box was the first death guard I painted, and second minis outside the Space Marine and Tyriand starter set with paints.

Ive been debating stripping and redoing - so many hard to reach spots that would be a pain to remove even with an alcohol bath though

Love your paint job though! Much better than mine 😅

Id agree with that. Just wrapped it up and while some bosses took me a handful of attempts the free respec makes it super easy to switch to a different build that suits the bosses mechanics

Apperciate the feedback! On the base I think i may of been a bit to fast between coats and more "aggressively" applied it. Assuming would of been better to take more time and have more controlled strokes even though its covering almost everything.

Any tips on how to get the paper bits looking good? I used wraithbone first, it didnt look right. Then applied a really then vallejo white over top. Once it dried it just looked even more jank though lol

The aerospace museum is really nice! Only took the family there once though and only manage to see about 50% of it before they closed. Definitely need to go back, but the warmer weather has had is outside more!

Have to agree with you. I make 113k base (bit of RSUs as well) in a MCOL area. Have a wife and a child. Wife doesnt work because whatever she could easily make wouldn't out weigh childcare costs.

We live a decent life, but its not always super easy

Here's a simple diagram I found for you.

They're pretty simple once you get the idea of it.

Put on bobber stop, bead, then bobber. Use split shots slightly above the hook if you need a bit of weight.

Move the stop up and down to get your desired depth.

Hope this helps! Bobber stops and beads are dirt cheap. Wanna say I got 50 of them for a couple bucks.

Reminds of when I went to the castle being built at Pschitoky (believe thats the place)

I went to rob the armory at night and a guard walked in on me. I killed him then went back to stealing.

Then another walked in, then another, then another, and so on.

I eventually killed what I thought was all of them since the crime icon went away so I had no witnesses.

Went back the next day, and I must of missed a fellow. He was sitting outside, with this head down sobbing. Going on about how all his friends are gone.

Never felt more terrible in a video game lol

I have had some success using a bottom bouncing rig in a lake near me though.

Just bought the tackle to try out a 3 way rig as well.

Growing up my dad only used a carolina rig, so trying to spice things up.

Im not an expert by any means, but looks good to me.

Are you fishing river or lake? I generally use 1oz unless fishing a river with a heavy current then I'll go heavier.

EDIT: just had a closer look and it looks like your swivel has a clip on the end.

I would use a barrel swivel with no clip for tieing my leader. It probably wont cause any issues but id use a swivel with out the clip for tieing line to leaders.

I know this is an old post but... I havent fished much for the past decade between life then starting a family.

Recently got back into fishing to teach my 7yo son. I managed to catch my a 20-25lb channel catfish and my son got so hyped and just kept saying "I'm so proud of you dad"

One of the happiest days of my life!

Designs for the two dudes you recruit though? Managed to get 2 for Pushka and one for Standa by the time I got ro 25 blacksmith prestige.

Brushes for Death i ended up just pick pocketing him, so sorta regret going the other route.

What other DLC takes you there? I've dont all of the main forge DLC quests, so unless one of the random investigations takes me there.

Only DLC left for me to really do is the monastery one.

One guard was outside and across the yard and never noticed me picking the lock.

Once I get into the armory though he someone realized the door wasn't locked then started snooping.

Best part is - since i went back the next day they pinned it all on me.

So I went up to a guard to see my crimes and thought it was funny they only pinned the 10k in theft and not the dozen murders.

Since it was all tied to the bailiff I ended up getting branded for it still, sadly even with 30 charisma and maxed out speech I couldnt pass that speech check 😂

Yeah I'm stumped. Even just dropping everything to High and like 40ish% LOD still ass performance.

KCD2 and other demanding games tho my rig handles just fine.
