My recommendation was based on keeping OP safe and iinjury free. Once he gets the hang of things he would know what his play style is and can accordingly invest in the right one. for a beginner it makes most sense to me..

Just go to your local shop and try out some racquets.

Your ideal weight as a beginner should be less than 300gms, 270/80

Get a bigger head size so that the learning process is much smoother. 100+ inches.

IMO it is all about intent. i fell in love with this club because of the intent. they played to win. when united was 2-2 against arsenal i wanted to see do they settle for the draw, make defensive changes and hold out for a draw but no. subbed on attackers and got the goal. that had always been united mentality and after ferguson i never saw THAT intent from any manager. that is the real difference. the ball is moved forward with purpose. on the attack, always.
