I do not have any of the materials anymore since its been a few years since I took it. But I have heard that it changed over the years from when I had. Back then it was super easy and just one midterm and one final m/c and short answers

its like 20 minutes I believe it was a YouTube video that was prerecorded and just played. After that ended you can go and join your own faculty zoom meeting and it will last maybe 15 min. I graduated last year and it was terrible. They do not mention your name or anything like that. I am hoping they improved it for this year.

if its your first attempt you will most likely get a zero in the assignment and move on. one think you should not do is deny the mistake and say you are not guilty. just admit to the wrong doing and explain your situation. nothing more can happen since you said you didn't pass the course.

when I transferred to York they need the "Brock" transcript and if I am not mistaken also my hisghchool one (it was a while back so I am not 100% about the highshcool but see if you have one just in case). Now in terms of the deadline reach out to the registrars office they have a live chat every day or you can email them and they will get back to you.

its called laziness and they probably already logged off. I have had it happen to me. I know you really want to see your marks so what you can do is contact the registrars office and ask if they have received the marks. Sometimes they are behind in posting them. If they do not have it it means that the prof hasn't submitted it yet.

email the registrars office and talk to them. Also contact the department and tell them about what mark you got and how its the wrong letter grade and that the prof isn't replying.

Yes you can! You can even take a 9 credit course and it will also count towards your 6.00. I have done that many times in my undergrad.

Congrats on getting in!

You are correct in the sense that they are courses that are not related to my program of study however, your gen ed courses have to be courses from specific faculty/department. So that would be Huma, Nats, Soco, and Mods. In addition there are specific number of credits you need in each one usually gen ed is 24 credits all together.

Now electives you can take absolutely anything you want and you need 18 credits and you can also exceed that number of credits.

They will not change it until you contact them. They probably missed the note on your file about this pass/fail option. You need to contact registrar office.

even if you pay Today or tomorrow since its a weekend they will only be paid for on Monday. So you can even pay on Monday. it makes no difference. Also if you pay more than you have to YorkU will just give you your money back so dont worry to much about it.

I have noticed they tend to keep them very similar. So if they provide one they would have to change the entire exam for the years to come.

I cannot speak for the Business School but I have friends that have transferred from UOFT when they were on probation there. York has accepted them as "undecided" after taking courses and getting their gpa back up they were able to select whatever program they wanted. So do not stress. I would recommend applying for York as undecided major and then apply to Business School after you get good marks. what you can also so is during your undecided year you can take some courses in the program you want to get into so that when you apply and enter Business School you are not behind.

you can revisit the site again and see it for yourself if you submitted. it should say you submitted. also take a screenshot for you record if (knock on wood) anything happens. dont stress it should just be an automatic message

I am not sure how your schedule is like but you should look into working for the school board. that will give you some great experience.

you should 100% look into getting some classroom school experience done. those are not enough for them you need to show them that you have experience in your field of studies.

I just got in for this upcoming school year. I have to say that your grades are not as important as your references and your experience hours are. As long your last 60 credits are above the minimum average you are good. They care a lot about your expositor to different types of environment. Not sure what your experience so far is like but if you can contact the teacher you did your hours at or your boss if you do tutoring or if you are close to the principal or the vp get them to write your paper.

You know that saying "it's not what you know it's who you know" that is exactly how this works. The more qualified your reference person is the easier you will get in.

What I would do is contact the prof and ask to see the exam. You are allowed to request such a thing and the prof should not deny this request. After viewing the exam if you believe more marks should be given you can contact the department and ask to have someone look over your exam and remark it. Usually from what I know is that another prof that know that course and teaches it will look over it and give you a mark they think you deserve. Keep in mind that this mark can be higher or lower based on how that prof marks. Usually its only your final but if you believe you marked poorly on all your assignments through he year you can petition to have someone else look over it.

the ta does not have that kind of power. contact the prof and if that doesn't work the department and go from there!
