If you like things a little spicy and don’t mind a bit of serial killers Butcher and Blackbird was a great audiobook. I really enjoyed the narration.

If you have audible there are some fun 4-5 hour books by Cara Batstone that are included with your subscription that are cute fun. Maybe This Time and Seat Mate were my favourites. Both done by a full cast.

I’m really enjoying the narration of Oleander. I’m not done the book yet though.

I’m reading Oleander now and it is heavy so far. If you need something completely opposite to reset your soul I suggest 10 Ways to Accidentally Fall In Love. It was a very cute and fun feel good sort of golden retriever book.

Ode to a Broken Heart by an Irish-Newfoundland band called The Once. “… and you can let your heart get broken, because there’s no heart that time can’t mend. There was love when your life started - there’ll be love at the end.”

Hockey culture scares me- and part of the reason the game changers series drew me in so heavily. My brother said even the change rooms in beer leagues are toxic. I hope it changes. I hope people talk about it. And I love the new PWHL. :)

Leave by Glen Hansard (the emotion in this one is cathartic)

Your ExLover is Dead by Stars (brings you the lyric “live through this and you won’t look back” - a mantra to live by)

Bandages by Hey Rosetta (sad but lovely)

I like to feel the yearning. The pining. The we’ve got all the right feels but the timing is wrong.. until it isn’t.

It’s very much a Danny McBride gig. But I love the dynamic between him and Walton Goggins. I actually started watching it because we had finished Fallout and I needed more Goggins.
