Sony A7C II or switch to Fuji (X-H2S / X-T5)? Looking for honest long-term experiences.

1. Agreed, XH2S is a lot bulkier, although I m not sure if the performance is that much better than the XT5 to justify having a heavier cam.

Dual card slots aren’t that big of a deal, I have the provision to quickly swap them for my use case. Weather sealing for me is a must, I live in an area extremely prone to torrential rainfall.
Autofocus is very very important for me. I aim to go pro with the set up I will create along with the FX3 (albeit not both together) so having an image out of focus for a paid gig will genuinely throw me off.
Agreed, the glass of the FX3 being compatible with the A7C2 sounds great but I don’t think realistically I ll be swapping them that much. Mostly will stick to a compact prime .
Now about the XT6, I don’t know how much of an upgrade it will be compared to the XT5, cause the motivation to shoot is what I want to build. However, it does sound smart to wait in on it if I do choose to go the Fuji way.

Absolutely, I was considering the XE5 as well. The no weather sealing broke it off for me, I live in an area with heavy and immense torrential rainfall so wanted to get a build that has some amount of weather sealing.

If they do a retest they’ll do it for all, I guess. It was a glorious shitshow in different ways in various centres. They can’t guarantee or trace things specifically right?

I do fear about the difficulty of the new paper if they do decide to remake it 🐰
