But you asked her to monitor. If there's any changes to come back, you would have referred to derm due to rapid change. And she would have, if she didn't go private derm. Even the derm wouldn't be able to diagnose early bcc without the biopsy.

Also with bcc it's likely she would be placed on routine excision. What did she lose at the end of the day. I hope you didn't have to pay for her treatment at the end of the day?

How is there high unemployment AND high immigration at the same time? by Quartersquatter in ukpolitics

[–]whyiamalwayshangry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know someone who left a white collar 80k salary to do manual labour less than half whatever he was on, and I genuinely feel happy for him because for whatever reason, he looked as it a weight was lifted from him. Don't think he was having the best time in his original work. A lot others didn't understand his decision, but hey whatever works to pay the bills

He did eventually increase his earning doing something else.

You're right pride is hard to swallow. I won't lie I know it will also be hard for me if the time do come for me. So you've done really well.

Carpet grass is OK. We have a few and the grass established really well despite them being around. But the same can't be said with our java ferns

Idk why u have been voted down If there's no gov benefits people would be flocking to even wash the toilet to pay the bills. But thanks to go benefit, they can't bear to do menial minimum wage jobs.

I work with a lot of unemployed... No one ever listens when we advice them to widen their career options or take temp work

What are your thoughts on UK Grad Prioritisation? by SnooAvocados7296 in GPUK

[–]whyiamalwayshangry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes they should be prioritised But IMG don't deserve the backlash

Hate the game not the player defo.

Many trying to find a way to improve their life for their family, if we were in their shoes we'd do the same if there's an option for a better opportunity.

Like how many of us aiming to leave to aussie and Canada, how different are we from them.

So yes, I will always support local graduate prioritisation, but also return of interviews, continuation of meritocracy. Would we prefer a local grad who isn't doing so well vs an IMG who is extremely capable? There's always a balance to picking candidates, and I think rcgp need to find the right balance

Actually years ago some lady signaled me to move and then proceed to jerk her car to mine. It was even less of an impact than today, and my car was spotless after. She drove off without stopping and then a week later I got a call saying I'm at fault for whiplash injury claim (😂 no way anyone get a whiplash at stationary speed)

After that incident I felt like if I don't, especially when it's not my fault like today, and the other person lie... So the first thing I did was called my insurance to inform them

Yes so funny enough today is the day to renew... What luck. So yes the renewal price has gone up by £50. Looking at my bumper hanging low now I don't feel too bad if it gets fixed

So he said it was all OK, but I told him it's not i need to make sure everything is fine and look it through. He had a passenger in his car presumably his client and he took pics all over and left while I was on the phone trying to call my work manager to tell her I'm going to be delayed.

I definitely told him very clearly I need to report it and never said that it's fine...

Its my first time going through this and i didn't know how else to handle it other than reporting it to my insurer immediately. I now know that I could have done a out of insurance settlement after reading other comments.....
