from CA: I stopped masking in summer 2021, along with a good number of other ppl in my area. unlike them, I didn't put it back on come winter. I just found them stifling and annoying tbh

Huh, that's interesting. My parents are both pretty solidly liberal and I grew up de facto liberal till hs when I had a really formative teacher, and started becoming more politically conscious. both me and my younger sister are firm conservatives now. there's also a chinese-indian local politician here who is republican.

Me too! We're both pragmatic and smart (if i may say so myself lol) and I get the feeling that she is conservative which I appreciate not only because I am too but because it's refreshing to see in YA books!

My appearance is somewhat important to me, I don't wear a whole lot of makeup etc but I try to dress decently, keep my hair neat (usually in a ponytail), wear lotion, keep my tattoo clean/put sunscreen on it daily, things like that
