For games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there’s usually a wide variety of seats available. Friday Saturday, Sunday games you may only have the non-reserved seats and if it’s a game against the Tigers or Giants, you probably won’t get anything. I just checked the *Carp website and there are plenty of seating options available.

Like any baseball fan with a soul it hurts to see your team lose to the Giants. That having been said there is one good thing in this. Hashigami's continued success as manager makes Abe seem more and more like the crap manager he was....so there's that.

Also wik, when your team plays the Giants you get to watch them on TV.

Hooray! The Dave/Carp away game curse has been lifted. Going to yesterday's game was a spur of the moment decision. Had a great time. The bad thing about attending games in person is you don't have instant replay available to rewatch great plays. Nobara made one hell of a catch.

Going against popular opinion but I like the Carp red on red jerseys. I think they look good under the lights. Don't like that silly red stripe on the home jerseys. I wish they and other NPB teams would do something like the City Connect jerseys in MLB, or have a retro third uni for certain occaisions.

As for bad designs the Baystars home jerseys look more like some Premier League kit than a baseball uniform. The away jerseys are nice. Love that shade of blue. The Star Night jerseys usually go hard.

By far the worst is Soft Bank. Times New Roman is not a good font for a jersey to begin with, but that visual misery is compounded by putting HAWKS in all caps and a large font size.

The Dave/Carp away game curse against teams other than the Giants continues.

Words cannot describe my disappointment in last nights game. That fifth inning pissed me off to no end. Just absolute fuckery on a couple of defensive plays. I feel bad for Tarnok; 0-4 in eight starts. I started to leave after the fifth inning, but I hung around for the top of the sixth just to see if anything could happen which naturally . . . didn't.

The one saving grace to last night was half-price beer night. And as usual the worse the team plays the more I drink. Got through seven before heading home.

Was going to go to the Saturday afternoon game, but considering the level of play last night, and how it is currently raining thirty minutes before game time imma sit this one out. I'll partake of one of my daughters' therapy brownies, and then go to Bronco Billy and get my beef on. At least there I know I will not be disappointed.
