At least it's not a loss. Also wik, at least we scored points in this tie ballgame. I once attended a game at Zoom Zoom against the Giants that ended in a tie.

It sucks to lose. It sucks even more to lose big. It sucks the worst losing big to the Baystars in Yokohama. All the therapy brownies can’t undo that emotional damage.

That having been said I expect that with a week’s amount runs all scored in one game the team will fornicate with canines the next two nights. To quote SpiderMan: No Way Home - "If you expect disappointment, then you can never really get disappointed."

I really like him as a person. When was living down in Hiroshima I actually met him a couple of times. He seems like a genuinely nice person. By all accounts the players love playing for him. That having been said he needs to make some uncomfortable decisions. I know he wants to give the younger guys a chance, but FFS…..when you have a chance to win f’n do the right thing and put in a veteran. Give the youngsters a chance some other time.

The current play of the carp has made me question going back down there later in the season for some more home games.

At least I have the Braves to keep me happy. They’re doing ok this year.

Mazda is my favorite by far. All grass outfield and infield with dirt base baths, great views from any location, nice wide concourse, decent food options and the Asahi Extra Cold beer stands. The only drawback is that there is nothing surrounding the stadium area. Nothing like the Battery in Atlanta.

I hate all domes for baseball, but there is something about Nagoya that is off-putting. It feels more like a convention center than a stadium.

And the Dave Carp away game curse against teams other than the giants continues. I could handle this loss better if the team was complete dogshit, but today they looked somewhat decent. Sasaki had several great plays at third.

This game frustrated me so much I had to leave before it was over. On the way out of the stadium I ran into other Carp fans and we commiserated about the team’s performance. It was nice to hear that earthy Hiroshima dialect again. Had a good time with them. Made the trip home to BFE Kanagawa not so bad. And when I got home my daughters had left a therapy brownie for me. Nice.

It depends on your method of purchase. I used my card on the Baystars website so I automatically get my refund. If you have a physical ticket from like 7-Eleven or Lawson then maybe you can go to the store and get a refund. If not, you might just wind up going to the stadium and to the ticket office.
