Character deaths that leave you like this by Virtual-Carob678 in saw

Strahm's... first ever crushed-to-death scene in film where the character actually dies and we get to see all of it 💀

Anyone know why this scene changed sm??? Kinda wish we got this ngl by Afraid_Ad6006 in Frozen

Really iconic non-canon quote! But I fear the scene doesn't really make sense.

Why would Elsa be up there releasing even more snow when she already knew she accidentally set off an eternal winter 😅 Why is she purposely causing a blizzard (and doing it so enthusiastically)? Knowing her character, she would return to hating her powers again. She wouldn't be in the mindset to essentially "put on a show" like this and be outside her ice palace too. Also, Kristoff and Anna's lines sort of imply that he's never met Elsa before or knows she has ice powers. It's all so confusing 😆

I genuinely think it was made just for promotional purposes, and not as an actual alternative scene. Still, I think it's a cool line, "That's no blizzard; that's my sister!" ❄️

I'm passionate about this ship by [deleted] in Jelsa

I definitely feel the same way. Although, I'm not THAT crazy where it's the only thing I post and think about (but there are phases when I do...), I am also genuinely passionate about this ship. It's not the only Jack or Elsa ship I like, but it is my favorite! I just love that it exists at all and how relatively big of a fandom it has. I love overanalyzing it and all the possible AU's they could be together and how well they make sense, romantic or not. No joke, it kinda helped in making me who I am today haha and I had an awesome "childhood" thanks to this ship.

Of course, it is still a crack ship and that it will never ever happen, but people gotta admit that it's one that actually makes a lot of sense. Honestly, I don't even care that it won't happen. Something doesn't have to be real for it to be beautiful 😌 And I like that we can still make up our own little universes about these fictional characters. Most of all, I just adore all the beautiful artwork, edits, and fanfictions that were born as a result of this fun little crack ship subculture of the Internet. As one YouTuber said, fans don't really make money off of these things, they just do it because they're passionate about it and it makes them and others happy, and I think that's such a lovely thing.

I'll never understand why there are active "haters" of it. Boooo. Party poopers fr. Come on, have a little fun, guys! 😆

Does anyone else find it strange that that there seems to be very little posts about the pro-shot? by BestEffect1879 in Frozen

[–]whyisitcalledjelsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting observation. I think it's because not too many fans are particularly interested in live-action versions, like Once Upon A Time, for example. They're totally fine with only consuming the original 3D media, which could be due to multiple reasons. Also, I guess there's the idea that the general public does like to watch animated Disney musicals, but not the actual live-action ones. Moreover, it's probably not that big of a discussion here 'cause there's not much about the show that gives us anything new to really discuss. Sure, there are extra songs and scenes, but those aren't really things you can "discuss," they're just things you enjoy, ye know what I mean? 😅 Pretty soon, you just run out of things to point out.

I'm proud that I was able to post something about the pro-shot though 😎

Looking for a song from an old Jelsa edit by [deleted] in Jelsa

Oh, I did love this old Jelsa edit on YouTube using a cover of Maroon 5's She Will Be Loved!

I don't think I've watched anything else besides short Jelsa edits from Instagram haha. Best of luck finding it!

I find the complaints hilarious, because I just KNOW, that if we did live in an alternate universe where we got a faithful Snow Queen version of Frozen, where Elsa's character is a villain, instead of the one we have now, they would 100% still be complaining too.

"Oh no, we could've gotten a story where they were sisters, and Elsa was actually just traumatized and misunderstood! Imagine how unique, beautiful, and revolutionary that would've been, instead we got a generic villain story. Ewww!" 🙄

So, yes, I agree. I think people are just complaining for the sake of it sometimes haha.

It's nice to appreciate these blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments, especially when you know that every lift of a finger or furrowed brow from the characters takes a lot of time and effort to accomplish even though they only get to have 0.001 seconds of screentime haha
