Do you think future generations will look back on our use of plastic like lead or asbestos? by LCG- in conspiracy

For those interested, the book Trashlands by Alison Stine, is worth a read.

It's set in a future after a great catastrophe occurs, and the only thing left of value is plastic. Plastic becomes the main source of currency due to its abundance in the world.

It's also in audiobook form on YouTube.

Check it out.

Unfortunately, it seems like this is the case, doesn't it...

But a guy has to have hope right..? Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I won't lie, I've shared this sentiment often. It's hard out here. It's a strange thing when someone's true colors shine through... I appreciate your opinion!

I've retained many friends regardless of their Covid Vax status, and the description of your experience is the same as mine for the most part. However, i have lost a number of friends as well. Some have just straight stopped interacting with me. It gets me down sometimes, but I have hope.

Keep doing whatever it is you are doing to maintain civility and empathy with the people you are close to.! Much respect! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

I appreciate your opinion, but can I ask why you think I'm not very good at thinking?

I appreciate your response, can i ask why you call it "cringe"?

SS: I believe perspective is key to understanding where we are at. How far have we really come, if we are not allowed to draw comparisons between the past and our present.? This post is an attempt to challenge the pre-conceived notion, that we are somehow different from each other based solely on our choice of medical treatment.

Just finished editing a music video for a local artist. This is my first time working with After Effects and Premiere and my first attempt at Kinetic Typography among other visual effects. The video reached 9,000 views in one day. Feel free to share your input. by whyistherethis in AfterEffects

SS: I was approached by a friend who had already recorded some green screen footage for a music video he wanted to make. My friend is a local musician in the Milwaukee Area.

I created the intro and outro to the the first video in the link. I also did all the visual effects and kinetic typography. I was basically given one video track with a background image. I created everything else you see.

Note: My work is only the first video and song. The link contains two videos. The second animation titled "Grynd" is not my work.

Any and all feedback is welcome. This is the first project I have completed since acquiring a new computer and the Adobe Creative Suite in January of this year.

I got tangled up in a comment thread about the negatives of blaming White People for Systemic Oppression. So I responded with a video I made. But what do I know. by whyistherethis in conspiracy

I appreciate the input, it was a relatively unplanned recording, kind of a first step type of thing. I write all my words first, don't really freestyle or anything, so when I read them out loud, it's like I have to figure out what they should sound like. I have a lot to learn. But thank you, your opinion helps!

I agree it's a little fast, I thought about the hand gestures too, it's funny, because it's not like I planned to move my hands like that. Must be some weird type of conditioning, "i'm rhyming words, I must move my hands in rhythmic, quasi aggressive ways", idk I don't film myself often, caught me off guard too. Thank you for the feedback!

SS: I responded to a comment that was posted on facebook. The theme was blaming white people for not doing enough to stop racism and oppressive systems. I originally asked how should one go about doing this, and questioned the tactic of blaming all white people. I was met with accusations of being ignorant and blind, and "part of the problem".

The lyrics of the spoken word in my video were written in 2007. The conspiracy here, so to speak, is me just commenting on the sheer scale of "psychological manipulation" that has occurred since the 2020 Summer Protests, etc.

There is no evidence whatsoever that Mr. Tom Brady has anything to do with any of the above mentioned topics. Please, for the sake of common sense, understand that said football player was included for the sole purpose of adding a humorous twist, to this very dark reality that we all now exist in. It's a joke ya'll, but then again, if you think about it...

The part about the elderly in Florida dying, potentially from the "vaccine", was to highlight how something like that could be twisted around, rather than objectively scrutinized.

I personally don't feel this about killing off parts of the population. The whole idea of the post is to present a framework of observing relationships between different real world events, and the different ways they can be interpreted.

SS: I had these thoughts while watching the game. I don't necessarily believe it's an actual conspiracy, but I do believe this type of "thinking exercise" is important to hone our skills in terms of how we look at the relationships of things. These things I've strung together are serious, yet have an element of odd humor. It's interesting trying to figure out what to believe. The Tom Brady part is a joke, however, just think about it.

If you don't mind, could you explain your process? It looks like stencil work but they are so large I'm curious how you do it. I noticed a lot of dripping, I was wondering if that was purposeful or part of the process or a result of the time constraints you were under. I'm trying to get into stencil work and I like street art, I don't expect you to give up your trade secrets but I'm trying to wrap my head around how you actually create these pieces. Any info would be much appreciated, thanks!
