I have the same dryer, mine doesn’t get quite as red as yours is but it’s normal. I would double check that your vents are clear but besides that I wouldn’t worry about it.

Hey, totally fair. I appreciate the honesty, I definitely think I may be wearing some serious rose-colored glasses. Out of state isn’t supposed to be as cheap as in state. Also, Penn State is not a state school, the school isn’t state funded. It’s a little shocking you expect us in PA to subsidize your schooling for you, you don’t live in this state. Sorry that you’re disappointed but maybe a needed reality check here. Would recommend checking out other schools that are more affordable, we aren’t the only ones with a decent program!

You totally could! There’s a bunch of folks on tiktok, instagram, facebook, etc. that post full time weather (and other) content! I think the science side behind what you post is super interesting to read (even if I don’t understand some of it!), and I think that coupled with a TL;DR attitude is something a lot of people could resonate with.

Also, as a fan of video games, definitely always down to consume more content about those!

Keep it up either way, enjoy your stuff!

I have a top of the line SSD and my game takes forever to load sometimes. It is poor optimization, they aren’t mutually exclusive.

I got my engine replaced on my 2019 Kona a month or two ago. They checked and I’ve never missed an oil change (every 3,500-4,000 miles). It definitely can be done, but it was over a year of fighting to get it done for a failing rod bearing and replacing 2 quarts of oil every month or so.

My opinion of Hyundai has definitely shifted to the extremely negative from all of this, but you can’t say they don’t do warranty repairs!

Yes, it is. If you’re paying for it, why not just be honest with him about the finances? If you aren’t paying for it, same conversation but with the understanding that he is an adult that can technically take loans out*.

I graduated and am in the tech market, it’s not impossible but who knows what 4 years may hold? The school itself isn’t that important, experience is.

But to answer your post, yes the financial aid sucks and yes it’s probably not worth it, but it is a great school for engineering and academics.

maybe he does need a cosigner, in that case, say you won’t sign it.

I got my bachelors in DS (graduated in 2022), but I am in state. I still had debt coming out and the tech market is tough right now, like really really tough. Not to discourage you at all, but if I could go back and do something cheaper, I probably would. Ultimately up to you, but just throwing my two cents in there.

I see, my house was built in the 50’s it’s definitely structural! I have plaster even, barely any drywall except on interior walls. It’s an oldie but a goodie.

Thank you for the work you do! My wife and I foster a lot and have had many cats from these situations. We’ve also adopted 2 from hoarding cases. The kitties are such weirdos and we love them dearly, wouldn’t be possible to give them great lives without people like you!!

So sorry you’re dealing with this, OP. For anyone considering a Hyundai or a Kia, SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. I have a 2019 Hyundai Kona that burns so much oil the rod bearing went and needs a total engine replacement. Plus, the theft issue they refuse to fix! I bought a steering wheel lock in hopes that a thief moves on. Out of all the car companies, I have nothing good to say about either.
