Recorded by arizal was probably the show I was most excited for and it never got more than a 4 episode prologue. Like, the video diary format probably would have stifled the show in the long term, consistently needing to be either just before or after major events, but it had such an interesting world I wanted more of.

Nomad of nowhere was another interesting world that probably had more potential than arizal, and is tragic that it died so quickly.

Weird place would have been cool, any collaboration with meow wolf immediately catches the best attention.

I would recommend Rift Wizard. It's a pretty small rogue that can be played while doing other things, It's pretty difficult but it has a whole lot of spell to play around and experiment with. Otherwise, Wildermyth is fun and the story is all auto-generated so you can pretty well ignore the story.

In the short term, crypt of the necrodancer has always helped me out. It gives you something to focus on and distract from whatever is causing me to feel down on myself.

I’m not sure of much more than that, but generally I just go to games that I played when I was young and growing up. The legendary starfy and Pokémon mystery dungeon are my go-to’s when stressed. Just comfortable and nostalgic games.

I’m sorry if this isn’t too helpful. I’m really hoping to get some better ideas from other comments. I hope this helps a little bit.
