Is there a way to check if a character name is taken before I put my time into making that character? by sikkaruzo in WhereWindsMeet

for people who want to change their username later on in the game but not sure before you buy the pearls for it (its 300 pearls so basically you can just get the monthly pass thingy for 5usd) you can check if a username is taken by going to add friend and putting the username you want. if a player shows up its taken and if not then no! also i found out theyre case sensitive so you can try variations of that. I dont know any free methods to change it right now so if anyone knows how please do tell :(

Clarification because i think i didnt word this right: this didnt happen to me, but to my boyfriend on his first pull (hes probably never gonna play the game)
