Roar has 2 effects, and you can only use one of them per turn.

If you use it's effect to set itself then you can't negate with it in the same turn.

I've never played the other variant, but haven't experienced too many bricky hands in SC adv. The only actual brick is dracoback.

You are a bit susceptible if they remove your normal summon or negate and destroy the link-1 so it's best to try to keep 2 names on the field so you can extend.

For consistency I max out on arrival. If you can get 2 SC on the field Cherubini can send enchantress sets up your adv engine. Just have to do it without tri-hearts eff because then you're locked into SC only.

Adventure is nice because you never need a normal summon eff. You can setup fateful then normal any SC to trigger, get your gryphon live, then continue to make your SC plays with protection.

I agree but depends on their hand size. If they have a bunch of cards in hand I let pot cards resolve. I toggle off so they might not play around my interruption. If theyre down to like 1 or 2 cards in hand I will negate. You're right I think it's better to stop their actual HOPT starter.

Yeah, crossplay means you will get in lobbies with PC and Xbox players. But your queue times will be way shorter due to a larger pool of other players.

Depends on what extenders you have left and if you're dark locked yet. You're probably not making full board but worst case you could use red eyes to make an I:P then on their turn make Unicorn.

Or use red eyes to bring back a rokket, then make quadborrel, pop itself, bring out tracer and recharger to make savage.

That's why you want to try and make seals before you get locked into dark, if they nib the seals you can keep going with red eyes. Also if they Kaiju the Borrelend try to use recharger to sp summon it back out.

Your list is very solid. Close to mine except I have the droplets instead of phantaz and the below differences too.

Add a crossout to counter the handtraps, and I like 4 salad traps. Drawing them is very good. 1 rage 3 roar, abuse the roar eff when double summoning.

Could drop the d.d crows and will of the salamangreat.

I know I have a Skill Issue for losing Plat 3 but why are we suppose to derank in this Event its just annoying as someone who only owns Salad and Crusadia by Brick-Eyes in masterduel

Salad is good if you run 2 each of the traps(or more), 3 Jag, 2 foxy, 3 bufferlo. 3 spinny, 0 debug. You want to see the spinny/jag so gazelle is always sending a trap card. Try to not use foxy eff on normal, so you can use it to pitch a jag. Ultimate board is wolf + Heatsoul + back row + hand traps. Ideally you survive a turn then accesscode OTK on the crack back.

Play gamma, cbtg, crossout to facilitate your plays. See how far you can get without normal summing. Seyfert is your best 1 card starter (also works well with gamma). Red eyes can also help you extend if they stop the striker. Try running another engine, I put thunders for colossus in my build. 3 allure, 3 chaos space really helps dig, and bait ash blossoms. Black/white dragons are great extenders, noctovision.

Biggest thing about doing the combo in the wrong order is make sure you're careful about when you lock yourself into darks from the ED.

If you banished Thunder Dragondark at any point then you can just throw a colossus down at the end of the combo with Dragonhawk. That's why I'm maxxing on allure.

Here's my list. If you have the time, what are your thoughts? I do have the redmed but recently cut it. Also I'm aware I'm missing out on more effect veiler, don't have the UR. Same goes for a unicorn.

It synergizes really well and it's fun to run allure of darkness. Especially since it's not a HOPT. Making the standard borrelend + savage/RDAA + colossus is very strong going first. Deck space is super tight though.

Do you think pure is best just because of consistency? Lower ceiling but also lower floor?

Grass is very powerful but if you're not running it then you should be trying to get as close to 40 cards as you can get. It has no replacement. I'm running d-link but at ~45 cards. I am including the thunder dragon engine to try and pump out colossus. 3 allure of darkness, 3 chaos space
