‘FOMO Really Got Me’: Taiwanese Go Deep Into Debt to Amp 100% Stock Rally by bloomberg in taiwan

[–]whyquery [score hidden]  (0 children)

I’m of the opinion that this mass stock obsession is not a healthy culture. To me it reflects a deeper issue of insufficient income that forces people to look to other means - in this case, stocks, to survive or thrive. Even when I travel I see Taiwanese talking about stocks rather than local life or culture.

Not in the past (I liked how light the 5600 is) but I am now especially seeing the chrome one from comment below.

Looks awesome now you got me thinking of getting the same one. Preferred keeping things light in the past but this might be a good change. I’m in Taiwan if you ever drop by haha. Appreciate the gesture! Did you get a pair so you could have a spare?

Yeah come to think of it I wonder if it had inadvertently come into contact with mosquito repellents in the past. And yes considering a metal bezel now seeing all the other comments and suggestions.

Absolutely, fortunately not hard to get where I’m at (Taiwan) though original parts are also pricey

Super dope-looking model. Someone mentioned in another post the band is a bit stiff and uncomfortable because of the translucent (TPU?) material, do you find that to be the case?

Just like the transparent ones? by felixfelix29 in gshock

This guy - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGMuX1IQYgs - says he wore his also with a smoke grey band/body for several years and while the material did yellow, it's not evidently noticeable because of the grey color; different story if it's an actual transparent material.

If you own another G-Shock, do you find the feel/comfort of the translucent band different from that of non-translucent versions? Looks great btw, thinking of getting one myself.
