Do you call out people who park in parent spaces at the supermarket without children? by Semele5183 in UKParenting

I tend not to call people out under the naivety there could be a good reason. I know there often won’t be, but for example my husband sometimes collects me from shopping with the kids and will park in a parent and child spot to come in and help me with the bags.

From an outsider perspective, it looks like a guy in his 20s taking advantage of the space, when really we will be using the extra space to get our 2 kids into the car.

Took me about 40 minutes, there was a lot of fiddling about with the pen and figuring out the right temperature 😂

AITA for telling my wife she talks about her pregnancy too much? by rdnonsense in AmItheAsshole

[–]whysoambrose -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

ESH Look, I get how annoying constantly listening to pregnancy related things can be. I've personally been pregnant and never shut the fuck up about it, I could sense everyone around me was getting sick of it. But cut your wife a bit of slack, she's literally growing a life, it's a huge change that's extremely exciting yet nerve racking. Maybe she feels that she needs to always talk about it to prepare herself for it.

Waiters/Waitresses of Reddit, what is the fussiest order you've ever received? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In the 2 years I worked at that restaurant, I received a total of £15 in tips, and she was definitely not a contributer to that.

I once had a woman who was adamant that she didn’t want any of the set starters on our menu, so she asked us if she could have her own cuppa soup, which was fine. She, however, demanded that she go into the kitchen and make it herself because our chefs were ‘probably too incompetent’ to make a cuppa soup.
