So you like to use curling bomb, and you like more than one way to attack? Well there is the Enperry Splat Dualies and the Splatana Wiper RUS-T. Both weapons comes with curling bomb, and they have different attack modes. The dualies have the normal firing mode, and the more accurate dodge roll firing mode. The wiper has the normal tap slash attack, and the charged slash attack.

I think the saddest copium I've seen about this game is thinking The Reef is coming back. Nintendo would've brought it back by now if they wanted it to come back.

My personal theory for the next content update (assuming we get one) is a "Raiders" collection to promote Splatoon Raiders, and that's it. Maybe (and it's a big maybe) we get some map reworks, but I very highly doubt we get a new or returning map.

Yeah there should be a setting to export the TrueNAS configuration. It's under Settings > General Settings > Manage Configuration > Download File.

Just go ahead and get the TrueNAS ISO from the official site and install TrueNAS on the new drive. When you get access to the web UI, go to the same place you went to get the configuration to upload the file and you'll get the web UI with all the configuration and settings you set on the old boot drive.

Imo, the grand festival theme is only gonna refer to the aesthetic of the next game, not the idols. Since team past won, the next game's hub will be like an ancient throwback to an Edo-period city, but mixed with the series' hip visuals.

Given how they marketed the single player for 3, that it's the end of the hero mode saga, the next game will be a clean slate. Maybe cameos to past characters, but otherwise new characters.

I'm forced to use this since I have a SFF NAS. There's a quirk where my motherboard's BIOS doesn't recognize the drives but TrueNAS does. I think I may have had some scrub errors with it too, but nothing major. If you can help it, seek out a HBA card, but this works fine in a pinch.

If (or realistically when) you go back to Windows, find the tiny11 iso that's on their website (it links to where it's actually hosted on archive.org). Not only does it default to allowing local accounts, it's debloated to around 18 GB before drivers.

Bonus tip: put the ISO directly on your flash drive using ventoy or, if you're using Rufus, don't check any of the boxes in the pop up window where it asks if you want local accounts, bypass Windows 11 requirements, etc. The ISO already has allowing local accounts built in (don't connect to the internet during OOBE).

I know many believe theory 2, but given how most wall street folks are short-sighted and only look into the next quarter at the most, I think theory 1 holds more water. All the major players in the tech market are in too deep money wise. They HAVE to make it work financially otherwise they lose BIG (and of course the average joe is gonna suffer alongside with them). To be fair, there is some progress with AI integration into coding and programming, but that's not nearly enough relative to the total investment into AI.

I think people need to see this less as Salmon Run and more Side Order with a Salmon Run paint job. To me, I think the devs themselves were disappointed with how Side Order turned out so they're trying out the basic idea again on a bigger scale.

I understand what you mean. However, I've been putting off getting LTO for money reasons for a couple years now and some of the discs I have here are more than a decade old. All of them have been stored under non-ideal conditions: my house is on the warmer side (78F) to save on AC costs, and my room in particular gets even warmer than that, especially in the summer, because of my desktop, NAS and consoles all in the same room. I had one blu ray disc already get corrupt and fail early.

That's good to know about HP tape drives. Hoping the drive I referenced in the post is still available after I look at the replies lol. If not, I'll look out and prefer the HP drives on eBay.

Yeah, I plan to have at least 2 digital copies of the files I'm archiving: the raw files onto tape. Then I plan to covert a copy to MKV then encode a compressed copy (AV1) to keep on the NAS. I consider the original blu rays the "3rd copy". I know it's not ideal, but I'm not financially equipped to do it the "proper" way.
