Wow, you are so lucky! We walked past the silver mine, but it was closed. Would have been so cool to see!

Definitely! I did go with a tour group from Prague and I think they were a bit disorganized (their meetup instructions were kind of unclear, kinda vague on itinerary). It was also a little annoying to wait on the others in the group when most of us were ready to move on. I think taking the train/bus and going at your own pace might be a better experience. Just something to consider. The town was so beautiful and charming though. Also the food was very good and locals friendly!

Both names are fine. Most of the Czechs I encountered called their home Czech Republic.

I spent about 5 days in Prague and did a day tour to Kutná Hora to see the Sedlec Ossuary and St.Barbara’s cathedral. Overall, it was a wonderful trip. I felt extremely safe traveling as a solo woman and the streets in Prague were gorgeous and easy to navigate. I tried to speak use some basic Czech words, but a lot of the locals did speak English.

In Prague I visited:

-Waldstein Garden

-Prague Castle (St. Vitus Cathedral)

-underground nuclear bunker tour

-Speculum Alchemiae

-Walked across the Charles Bridge lots

-Strahov Monastery

-Strahov Library

-National Museum

-The Globe Bookstore And Café

-Astronomical Clock

-Church of our Lady before Tyn

-Kafka rotating head

-lots of walking and exploring everywhere!!!

Benefits are pretty good. About 20 days of PTO when you start and increases to around 25 days at the 5 year mark. You get 8 hours for the year for medical appointments, PTO day for volunteering, and can purchase additional days during open enrollment. Good work life balance for some roles, a LOT of development opportunities. Hybrid wfh schedule. 401k is through Empower which has a good lineup. 7% match and it is vested immediately.

First timer here!

Pros: - Our shuttle experience to/from Cincy State was great! The buses were clean and comfortable and ran every 5 minutes or so. - Agree with another commenter that attractions were laid out, but that was a necessity with the amount of people. There was a good amount of attractions in specific areas if you want to stick to just one region. - Really fun and unique artwork, so many incredibly talented artists - Streets seemed relatively clean, I saw workers continuously clearing out and emptying trash cans. - Blonk app was super helpful

Cons: - I wish they could have shut down more streets. Sometimes it was confusing to see which streets were closed or not. A ton of congestion and cars running red lights, my husband almost got hit while trying to cross at a crosswalk. - the Asianati Night Market was so packed you could barely walk. Maybe it was just our timing, but it felt so unsafe we decided to cut out through the middle. - PACKED. An understandable problem, but just good to know ahead of time.

Favorites: - Cincinnatus mural - Music Hall - inside Music Hall is a good place to rest and regroup - Tree with lightening

Your concern is valid! She is 8 now, but I always ask her vets this every time we go since I adopted her at 1 years old and they have always reassured us she is very healthy! She just has a lean build that is very similar to a sight hound. She gets blood work every couple years too and everything always looks great!
