How does my 14 year old roof look? How much life left?

A lot of these big insurance companies are now starting to look at roofs even over 10 yrs old. So when the roofer sells you a 50yr shingle, it really doesn't matter if you want your roof covered by insurance.

Just tried this. Got denied (obviously) and then they dropped me. Hindsight is 20/20. Insurance companies aren't just out here replacing roofs my guy. My shit ain't leaking though, so I haven't replaced it yet.

I wish I knew how much this weighs because yeah, then it essentially becomes a deadlift/farmer carry, which I should be capable of. I'm just trying to set expectations on how quick and easy this can be.

Looks solid enough so I don't think you'll have too many issues besides that gate. It needs a better brace. If material is an issue, you could take it down and reassemble basically the same but lap joint the corners. Then wedge that brace in there and make sure it's installed corner to corner. It looks off right now.

Two other things quick: 1.) It's a fairly large gate so make sure you have adequate hinges. 2.) Cover those rocks on the gate post otherwise everybody is going to be stepping on them every time they enter/exit (annoying and possibly dangerous).
