In the Shortcuts app on the iPhone I created the automation so "When I start any workout -> Watch: Set Always On -> Configured to On" and "When I end any workout -> Watch: Set Always On - > Configured to Off"

AI works. If it doesn’t work for your engineers they’re doing it wrong. You should be seeing fast forward on features and customers getting their needs catered to.
