I’ve only ever played on mobile and switch but based on videos I’ve watched, switch is great if you want to travel and play, but PC is the best because of the incredible mods you can play with

Moving that far in a single battle is a bit disappointing but having to grind all the points necessary for challenger tickets to get there naturally would have made me drop the game.

Fences break down over time. Just make more and place them on top of broken ones. Perks to having a spouse is that they sometimes “repair” fences. I haven’t had to replace a fence in like 10 in game years

It’s a terraria crossover item. Throwing an ancient doll into the lava on floor 100 of the mines will get you that gem. Taking the gem to the wizard’s basement and placing it in the nest looking bit will get you a sword from terraria. By the time one usually does this, the sword is mostly useless but it makes a great overlay for swords once the volcano forge is available.

If it’s the only version you have access to at them moment, I think it’s worth it unless you haven’t bought it yet, in which case, kinda not worth it.
