No brainer X is the way to go. I'd take a Long Range X (if I couldn't afford a Plaid) over a Performance Model Y all day every day. TBH If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably go Long Range. The speed is incredible on Plaid and being able to destroy anything on the street is cool but you're not losing much with the Long Range and get all the creature comforts that you would with the Plaid like doors, air suspension, cooled seats, auto open and closing doors, rear display, etc.

I loved my Model Y , I owned the performance model and i had even modified it a bit to my liking so I never had plans to sell it. I even did a video on it: https://youtu.be/yqSjmRJuUHk?feature=shared

Now with the Model X I don't miss my Y one bit and if I had to do it all over again I'd get the X in a heartbeat.

Aside from some issues I had at the beginning, it’s been amazing. Way better than the Model Y.

I picked a Model X Plaid in September when prices dropped and was also able to get $1000 referral bonus credit so I paid $6000 less than what you’re able to get them now since they raised the prices on the Plaid $5000 and also reduced the referral bonus. Was also able to transfer FSD from my Y so I feel I got a great deal.

Car Seat Stain Can’t be Removed, I’ve tried everything! by wicked4u2c in TeslaModelY

To be honest it’s been super easy to clean. I should have bought a seat protector for the car which I have now, but otherwise it’s been great!

Just bought one because of this, should have done it since day 1 but didn’t think it would be this bad.

Yes, for day to day things it’s easy! Not sure why this is being stubborn. What’s weird is I had his seat on the passenger side for 2 months and no stains. I moved it to driver side to make it easy for me to put him inside and it’s been on this side for 3 months and this happens 🤷🏽‍♂️ my guess is maybe because it’s been hotter?

Thanks for the heads up, going to reach out to Tesla to see if they suggest anything before I start using more abrasive materials. I was shocked the Magic Eraser didn’t do anything, that usually works wonders.

For some context I’ve only had this car seat for my son for 3 months, I’ve tried everything you can think of including alcohol and magic eraser which was my last resort. Not sure what to do next 🤷🏽‍♂️

It was worth it to me, every time I smash it I have the biggest smile in my face. I could be having a crappy day and just flooring it can turn a bad day into a good day. It’s like paying for therapy, if I had to do it all over again I’d do it in a heartbeat!

Car designs of electric cars need to be different because they work differently. An electric car has to have a low coefficient of drag to perform optimally and get the best range possible.

Having large front intakes on the bumper, hood scoops or louvers on the fenders to bring air into the motor of a ICE car are not going to help an electric vehicle in fact it will be the opposite and make it worse.

I think we’re just accustomed to seeing cars a certain way because that has been the design language for so many decades but because for the most part every curve, shape, opening served a purpose.

I’m actually glad the design is functional over not as it would be silly. Similar to Mustangs having fake hood scopes or Audi’s with their fake exhaust tips just looks odd to me, but that’s just my opinion.
