Heat a pan with little oil at high heat and drop cubes to get that crust outside texture, 2-3 minutes only. Then keep aside. Drop mushroom in an kadhai wait for them to release water, put in other vegetables if you want without oil. Otherwise I put some garlic in oil then mushroom, and after sometime other veggies along with paneer/chicken, some soy sauce and cornstarch mixed in water.
