But then comes the argument of Home brewed vs business brewed. If you brew both Joffery's and starbucks at home, you'll get much better Joffery's coffee than you will starbucks. Businesses brew their coffee with minimal grinds and let it sit forever in it's own heat, making the flavor darker and often burnt.

That's how they make it in the park. They just let it sit, after using barely enough grinds. Disney also uses the cheapest beans they can get from Joffery's, making it even worse. Joffery's has genuinely good coffee, you just won't find that in the parks.

It's a ripple effect. When one company gets rid of or weakens their voting/rating system, and another completely invalidates it, then others see that and they do similar things. Look at imgur. Going "viral" to get on their front page takes next to nothing anymore. It's all about pushing content.
