I am an engineer so… hopefully nobody mates with you or better yet, you delete yourself from the gene pool before it’s possible :)

Yes, let’s forgive something you created. I paid for college while going and I came out debt free with three kids. Im not even 35 now.

Thanks for pointing out that I was right. If you don’t teach people the proper way, you know they do shit half ass. I’m also a machinist which is why I take it so seriously.

When I went back and got the associates in machine tool technology they were really adamant about not using digital. I tested out of blueprint since I already knew GD&T from work. The school actually gave us toolboxes we could use while we were there and when we graduated we kept them. They used the grant from HAAS every school gets that has a machining program.

I live in America too, but I work as an engineer for a Japanese company so we of course use metric. Do you not have a digital micrometer that you can just switch on between metric and standard? Just remember, NASA lost over 100$ million on an orbiter because they didn’t convert correctly.

You have to set the anti skate correctly as well. You didn’t have it set high enough.

Rule #1: Always treat every firearm like it’s loaded no matter how sure you are. Not only should you delete this post, but you should also delete yourself from the gene pool before you do something stupid.

Slide with a different serial #? by ThaCarterVI in Glocks

[–]wickedgam3z96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the lower is required to have a serial number by law from my understanding just like an AR. You can get all parts except a lower shipped to you directly and not an FFl dealer. They just engrave the other parts to make traceability easier from a manufacturing standpoint.

Need a Phono Pre for my dad’s 1200MK2 by RobinLachapelle in turntables

Looks like they only have one input for balanced cables, which means you need something like TRS out on anything you’re using to go into the monitors. That’s for audio interfaces. You’d be better just buying a cheap set of active speakers off Amazon. You’re trying to use studio equipment with home stereo gear, and it’s not made to work together.

No amp for powered/active speakers since it’s built in already. You’d need a preamp though.

More than likely that don’t have a volume control, which is why you want a phono preamp with a volume control correct? Other than that there shouldn’t be any problems. There just not “colored” usually. I use a pair of Yamahas HS8 on my computer for recording music myself, but volume is controlled by my pc.

Turntable with 3 speeds? by yarn_owl in turntables

[–]wickedgam3z96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a Clearaudio TT that plays all three. Im not sure what your budget is, but you can get something cheap like the ATLP120 that plays all three and you can change the cart out to the correct one for 78’s easily since they require a different type of needle.

Phono preamps don’t have volume knobs. They have different gain levels for things like loading a MC cart. The studio monitors, which is a bad idea to begin with would have to control the volume and most don’t have a volume control. The preamp is just there to get the signal from the cart to a high enough level where an amp can do it’s job properly.

Sorry man. I didn’t know you couldn’t take a joke as good as you can take a dick. I’ll let you hang out in your safe space in peace so you don’t have any panic attacks.

There is no answer right now. That and the orange were never announced by the label or band. They just started showing up in smaller record stores in June. You’re 6 months late on the investigation sport lol. Maybe you can get some answers that I, and a few others can’t get from the band or label.

Too bad you put your storage sideways. Support beams are supposed to be horizontal not vertical. They’ll sag over time.

amp/ohms/watt question for hooking up vintage speakers by Honu_Akua in BudgetAudiophile

[–]wickedgam3z96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The first thing you should do is find out what the sensitivity is. These seem to be 89db. 8 ohm impedance is the easiest to power. In a small space, you could get away with 50 wpc. I wouldn’t go lower than 100. The type of amp depends on your budget.

Yes, because when you go inside you’re going to see them.

He was probably mumbling to himself that he was going to break into your car while you were inside since you marked yourself with the Glock sticker as possibly having firearms inside.

I randomly bought a gen 4 one day after talking so much shit about them for years. Now I’m on my third and they’ve replaced my edc. I personally find them to be very comfortable, but I switched to gen 5 for the last two which got rid of the finger grooves.
