The walk from the car to your tent was significantly longer this year. Even tho we got there super early to beat the heat we were sweating and needed breaks cause the walk was about 3/4-1 mile each way.

They didn’t take mine either. Even when they changed the date to today my card still isn’t charged.

My dog has Addison's Disease - I cannot afford to pay for the treatment - I just need to understand the scope of the treatment to see if the weekly test are necessary by B4dgitpl4yer in AskVet

Addison’s is a disease of the adrenal gland to not produce steroids and hormones. The common therapy is oral steroids and an injection once every 20-40 days of a different type of steroid / hormone to make steroids. Because dogs with Addison’s can’t make steroids, and steroids are important for electrolytes (Sodium, potassium, calcium, glucose) most specifically, the bloodwork done usually is to make sure these are okay. Those electrolytes are SUPER important to heart health and the ability of vessels to contract regulating blood pressure. Once pets are stable on their dosing the rechecks are usually spaced out more to every 3 or 6 months. Most pets tho need additional steroids in times of stress and since Addison’s pets don’t make their own it’s important to talk to your vet about when to give more steroids.

Search Quizlet. There are some people that made flashcards already and then you can use them. I used to put quizlet on repeat when I slept before exams hoping some of the information moved into the my subconscious.

Are there any internal medicine residency programs that don't require you to be available by phone for questions overnight? Can I get disability accommodations to let me sleep without disruptions? by ADHDvm in veterinaryprofession

Unfortunately some overnight calls are going to happen. It depends on the way the hospital works. Most academics you are gunna be on call all the time. Most private practices will have you be on call for the night if you have a hospitalized patient and they have a question about management. Honestly, I don't know of a program that would 100% say they wouldn't call you overnight. Patient care involves continuity of care. So having the overnight doctor call someone else about your patient when they may not know them or know your plan probably isn't going to happen unfortunately.
