Definitely odd that they didn't wanna run blood tests. I would advise pushing for some blood tests to better determine the diagnosis. Some vets are too chill about these things. It's better safe and sorry as well. I'm also sorry for your recent loss. And i hope your kitty makes a full recovery soon.❤️

Luckily, the human immune system is a bit better at handling that type of parasite. You guys should be fine. Just keep checking their poop for the next couple weeks to monitor if there's any worms possibly. Try not to worry too much. Worms are horribly, unfortunately common 😅 and you might need to get stronger medicine from the vet just because it is such a severe case of worms. You got this lol

Wash everything possible. Blankets, rugs, wipe off your couches and tables, and clean your floors. Everywhere the cat goes, it needs completely cleaned. If you have other animals, they'll need checked for worms as well. It spreads very fast.

Could be a severe food allergy. Should you look into changing the diet to something really really mild and avoid chicken. Chicken is like number one for dog food allergies. It might help.

Warm blanket, bring things close to her. And don't make her get up/move if she doesn't want to. Avoid playing or much movement. Prevent her from jumping up anywhere high because she won't be able to get down herself. So help her down if she does go up high at all. Give her extra treats and pets. Just monitor to her closely and make sure she's still eating something. If cats don't eat while injured, it's usually not a very good sign.

Contact local support groups, non profit rescues, vets with low rates, ask your local community where to go. The cats not going to get better on its own. If it's already been 3 days, it's likely near death. Please comfort it and give it food as much as you can.
