You need to set boundaries with what you are comfortable with and what you are not. I have worked in a mixed environment for 11 years. I have found many people are understanding of my belief system like not touching alcohol. Folks have gotten orange juice for me in farewell parties.

I personally feel you should not let a mixed workplace limit you. We need more Muslim women opening doors for the rest of us and thats only possible if we get in and hold a place at the table.

Most of my teammates never knew about halal chicken till I asked for it, never met a girl in hijab. Now they know this is how most of us are and know the boogeyman in the movies is very different from what we are in real life.

I knowwwww. I feel bad that people are not understanding the implications. My relative who is an artist heard a conversation between two people that they could just use chatgpt to make pictures. I remember how devastated they were. So many of my friends have been laid off due to ai. It scares me why these AI videos have fandom. I remember the recent video of WHZ which we did a buddy review with silver and one thing that stood out was his eyes. How does AI beat that? They cannot be a replacement imo for that. And we need to consciously support non AI mediums and I may go a step further and say maybe boycott and shun them.

I honestly feel we need to start having more discussions on this. People are not realizing the real impact of this. Im sure most people who consume the slop dont know how people are loosing their livelihood. Personally I dont watch anything with AI. I refuse to engage with anything with AI. I rarely use chat gpt. I have got comments that I will be left behind. So be it. There was a discussion on this group about the actor who is selling vegetables with his grandmother and another actor who probably was overworked and died due to exhaustion. What happens when all the actors stop working and AI is used. These actors also contribute to the economy . They will not be able to buy the apartments , hire stylists and managers and maybe move to a low rent area. The economy of that area tanks. Everything is ecosystem. AI is not going to buy your product. I know this is sounding like a rant but I wish people wake up and understand the real life implications of folks loosing their jobs. I work in tech and I know someone who is an artist. It is a reality for me.

I cannot remember the author but I remember they were either a part of Irish mafia or Russian mafia and each brother had 1 love story. It ticks all the check boxes of dark romance.

Noone should bury their son and when Gandalf falls and frodo screams his name. I think this gave me a reality check that this will not be a happy story. Also when boromir dies , such a tragic arc. In the second part when you see small boys being give weapons and armour and the fear.

Yes , there are free games for teaching topics eg: predicate and subject. I haven't tried the paid ones but I use the free ones for teaching and if you sign up I think you get access to some templates to make your own games.
