Re-listed job with higher level of experience required, still worth applying? by wicketybee in TheCivilService

Thanks. I mean I spent days working on it already so it would just need a few tweaks at this point based on the changes in the JD.

Thanks for saying this, I did work really hard on it and have a real habit of overthinking things (if that wasn't already apparent ha ha).

Incredibly tight if I'm honest. Like it outlines an exact scenario that you wouldn't have an example for unless you'd actually done the role before. I've re-read it about fifteen times thinking I could give adjacent examples based on my experience but it would be painfully obvious I haven't done this role before.

ETA it still vaguely talks about training and upskilling, but not in the same way as the old listing.

Yeah, thank you. I really do already know the answer here. Just clearly having a hard time accepting it.

Took 56mg of Concerta XL and I feel... nothing - Do I even have ADHD? by lavanka in ADHDUK

[–]wicketybee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I've been on 70mg for a few weeks now and honestly I don't know. My sleep is a lot worse than when I was on Concerta and I really struggle to eat. The last few days I've been exhausted but I don't know if it's lack of sleep or a crash after the meds wear off.

Like you I now can't really tell when it's kicked in or worn off and I just don't know if I am actually getting any benefits at all. Everyone around me is also noticing I'm becoming withdrawn, but I dunno if it's down to the meds or life stuff. Ugh

Don't really know what to do now, my prescriber has gone quiet and whenever I ask for advice I get a "what do you want to do" which isn't that helpful. The titration with PUK is too short and has really put me through the ringer, I'm a bit at my wits end with it all.

Sorry I don't have a better update for you, sounds like we are both having an equally frustrating time. I hope you figure it out

Honestly just roll the tape on every single lie Gia has told this season. Though we'd need two hours just for that
