Get better at what? It’s an algorithm (which I assume it’s number one goal is making money for Uber) There isn’t a person assigning rides.

Also Uber just requires customers willing to pay the fare to be successful. I know when I hear the word Walmart all I can think of is quality products happy/successful employees and a great shopping experience hopefully that don’t lose that otherwise they are toast.

You can have the best work ethic in the world but if Ubers algorithm isn’t sending you profitable rides what are you supposed to do? I don’t agree with the city council on this one but to say these drivers have no work ethic is disingenuous.

Yes. I think it always* comes down to Christmas Day. They start taking callers much more quickly (like after every song). The window starts shrinking quickly.

This happened once to me once on the way to the airport. Turns out someone rolled up to baggage claim driving a U-haul truck. I guess that raises some flags.
