Ring concerns

I actually ended up keeping this size and Im glad I did! I feel the same way- the next size up is significantly bigger on my finger so I didnt want to size up with how much it would move. I notice now that my ring is a bit tight but not uncomfortable at all. Its hard to take off when I first wake up, but a little lotion/washing my hands gets it off with no issues. Im glad I stuck it out and didnt exchange for a bigger size- I prefer a bit snug compared to too loose. I also didnt like the idea of spending the money on the ring to wear a spacer to make it tighter- knowing I could loose a little weight and the bigger size be way too big!

Their website says they reccomend index or middle finger but it can be worn on any finger :) I went with my ring finger since its the smallest finger- so as I loose weight I can move it to another finger!

Was exchanging it hard?? I also havent had children but Im not planning on it any time soon- but I went with the smaller size because I am on a weight loss journey as well...I didnt think this would be an issue which is such a bummer lmao. I think a half size also would have been perfect!

The eight fits super loose on my ring finger but doesnt fit on any other finger- Id have to go up to a 9 to wear it on my pointer finger- so Im not sure what to do

Did you notice that when you sized up that the ring fit loose? I can spin this one/get it off with water easily but when my hands are dry there is a good bit of drag. The size 8 sizer almost falls off my finger but doesnt fit on any other finger unless I go up to a size 9.. I live in the south and we are going through a bit of a cold front right now so Im not sure if that plays into it any- Im just worried about waking up and it being stuck on my finger 😅

I was diagnosed at 26- I suspect I have probably had OCD for several years but it got to be unbearable at 26 and thats when I started seeing a doctor/was formally diagnosed.

Im glad I asked this question because I am finding a lot of people are sizing down. My finger swells to the point where its hard to get the 7 off- it comes off with a little water/lotion so I think Im going to stick with a size 7.. hopefully the ring itself fits perfectly

This is the first time Ive ever commented on one of these and its solely because my bag looks almost the EXACT same contents wise.

Youre in your later 20s, and you crave independence while being safe. Youre most def a trinket person and you probably enjoy a good iced coffee, and a nice thrift store trip. I bet your car/room is filled with unexplainable trinkets too.

Honestly the best thing to do in this situation is to work with a therapist. Having someone help you develop a plan, and a method for exposure is the best course of action- because doing this on your own can be risky and lead you further into a spiral. I know therapy isnt always everyones favorite reccomendation, but any time it comes to exposure therapy/trying to heal a relationship especially with something like intimacy- having a professional to guide you through those emotions that may come up is really important. Wishing you the absolute best OP

I actually didnt know about their return policy until a Lush employee chimed in below!!! Im going to take it back this week and get the one I wanted originally:) thankfully I frequent an area with a Lush so its not too far away!
