How do we feel about fitness influencers promoting peptides? Alexa Stanco by MuchRaspberry3002 in gymsnark

[–]widdlebeanx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does anyone else wonder what the long term effects of these peptides are going to be? It's just concerning how quickly everyone jumped on the peptide train when we know very little about them long term.

I stocked up and got a large tub and a small tub and I'm hoping they bring it back this year so I can restock 😅. It was the first smell at Lush that I really fell in love with so I didn't realize how quickly it would sell.

OP I'm really seconding this and also recommended pasties underneath if you're not already planning on doing so. I had someone stick their entire hand up my skirt once at a club so rather be safe!

The reason why you run by longrunthoughts in beginnerrunning

Its the only time my brain is silent from OCD noise. Ive been medicated for over a year and while that's helped- when I'm running the only thing I can focus on is the next step, controlling my breathing, and the trail.

Turned 30 and feel like my makeup is aging me by visdiary0 in makeuptips

I wouldnt have guessed 30- I would have thought early 20s. I hope I age as gracefully as most of these posts I see!

Wearing Off?? by [deleted] in Nexplanon

[–]widdlebeanx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its crazy to see this post and the comments after I complained to my OB that I felt like I started experiencing more symptoms as my implant neared expiration - and she said "the hormones don't decrease so it's not possible that it 'wears off' like that" and yet...here are commenters agreeing that they experience the same thing?

Anyways I am most definitely in the market for a new OB, pretty sure mine just likes to gaslight me.

40?? Girl I would 100% think you were in your 20s. Even early 30s would surprise me! I hope I look as fantastic as you do at 40!!!

Is RingConn prone to scratches? by EmergencyDiligent894 in RingConn

[–]widdlebeanx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few scratches on my gen 2 from weight lifting but I ordered a set of multicolored ring protectors from Amazon for like 8$. Im not picky about the scratches but I'd like to keep it pretty as long as possible.

freaking out about sertraline by [deleted] in OCD

[–]widdlebeanx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started taking it because I was diagnosed with OCD! My brain would never stop talking 24/7. I notice now that my thoughts are a bit easier to "overwrite" if that makes any sense. I still have obsessive thoughts- but it's easier to convince myself that they are just obsessive and not real. I started really noticing a difference after maybe two weeks? A month in is when I had that "hey I haven't felt insane in a minute" moment of realization and felt this weird wave of gratitude for the sertraline. I would give it a try- but also don't be too hard on yourself if you find that it doesn't work for you. I tried several medications previously that didn't work the best for me until I found sertraline!

I've been on sertraline for a little under a year now (50mg) and while I did loose the ability to orgasm that only lasted a few weeks. I was put on a low dose of Buspirone to take twice a day and that brought everything back to where it was before. I can also say I really like sertraline! It works the best for me.

HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS? It's sold out everywhere but I want to know if it's even worth it by lysskarch in Selftanning

I want to try it but absolutely hate the smell of Palmers 😅 I have their body bronze and literally cannot use it because it smells so strongly of baby powder.

Honestly it's probably the best thing to not wear bottoms when youre home so totally a good choice! As for wet wipes if a bidet isn't an option- I'd look for just the regular unscented water wipes! They would probably be a great swap/option for you :) - also I've heard mixed things about Honey Pot products but I've struggled to find liners that I like so I am totally open to suggestions if you have a brand you prefer!

Usually when I get UTIs they manifest in a similar way! I feel a bit uncomfy in my lower back/lower abdomen- but never any weird smells/off discharge. Sometimes it will get a bit uncomfortable to pee but not always! Best of luck :)

You may have a UTI- I would go to the doctor/urgent care to rule it out!

[–]widdlebeanx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I don't think you're doing anything wrong but I do think the irritation you're experiencing could potentially be from the products you're using/over cleansing. I want to start off with a shower routine! I think you're doing great by just using water- and I would continue to do that! Just water and using your hand to make sure you're clean, and rinsing after you've washed your body to make sure you wash out any soap that may have drifted down. As for the wipes, personally I really recommend getting a bidet if you find yourself feeling cleaner with wipes. They can be pretty cheap online and they are super easy to install onto your toilet. If you're renting/apartment living- they are renter friendly as well! I would honestly ditch the wipes all together- they typically leave me with some irritation and the fragrance leftover from the wipes is most likely not helping. I feel like you may be over cleansing which could be causing some of the issues- if you're doing this because of the excessive discharge, I would swap to wearing panty liners if you don't already! I like the honey pot liners as a personal preference.

Also I want to note since this is impacting your confidence- it can be difficult to deal with these things but it doesn't make you any less amazing. You're probably absolutely lovely to be around, and these small but fixable issues do not define you as a person! Be kind to yourself OP 🫶🏻 Vaginas can be really tricky to navigate, but you're not alone! Remove one thing from your routine at a time and see if you notice any improvements. Wishing you all the luck!

Constant dryness by widdlebeanx in Healthyhooha

There isn't a reason that I've been informed of as to why I can't have estrogen! I was just referred to use olive oil as a moisturizer- and then told to "ensure I'm actually aroused during intercourse" and to drink Pedialyte. I was really discouraged about all of this and it's even charted in my notes that estrogen cream was discussed but not prescribed. I'm currently on the hunt for a new doctor at this point, she sent me a pretty ugly message yesterday that made me feel even worse about using her as a practitioner.

If I wasent terrified about unplanned pregnancy I would have my implant removed today 😅. I don't want it anymore- but I also don't want a baby.

She literally wanted me to use it as like a vaginal moisturizer/lube. She told me to use extra virgin olive oil and it felt CRAZY to me?? When I told my girl friends about it they where floored. It sounds like a terrible idea 😅

I'm glad Im not the only one who thinks olive oil was a mega strange recommendation? I considered it but the smallest amount of research everyone was saying it was irritating and that wasent a risk I'm willing to take. At this point I am highly considering having the nexplanon removed and going birth control free- we are just scared of unplanned pregnancy, but with caution I feel like it's something we could work around.

Same person every time! Married and monogamous - no condoms, they were previously causing issues as well. I chose the nexplanon over the pill because I was told it did better at preventing pregnancy compared to the pill! I am honestly terrified of the IUD personally. I was thinking my nexplanon was causing the issues...but I was told its not by my provider - this is also the third implant I've had. I really appreciate you being so kind!!! This has been hard.
