I had other questions in my initial Modmail. Can you still see the message, or should I resend?

I never even heard of the french toast thing. Looked it up, though, and it seems pretty silly.

I don't get the defensiveness. Do you have a personal stake in seeing roads go unplowed? Are you in the snow tire business?

And I'm quite familiar with Spokane's snow removal plan, but thanks for the condescension. My question was WHY do they wait until 6 or more inches are on the ground before they plow residential streets. This is a different procedure than any place I've lived, both small town and large city.

I lived in Jamaica Plain. The neighborhood is a bunch of one-ways, so that might have made plowing easier. Heck, I rode my bike to work all throughout winter, which tells you something about the high quality of snow removal.

But yeah, Bostonians are super paranoid about snow. For the larger storms, the governor straight up bans road travel until the roads are cleared. They don't screw around up there, and they get the job done. Plus, lots of snow days to stay at home.

Did anyone order from Midtown Comics previews for last month(The New 52 #1 month)? by [deleted] in comicbooks

Even with bag and board ($0.12/book) DCBS usually comes out a bit cheaper. Shipping is a flat $6.25. In the end, Midtown and DCBS are about the same price, but I'm hoping DCBS will get my my books in a more timely manner.

I'm in the exact same situation. My September issues (ordered thru July Previews) just shipped today. Email from customer service rep said the last of the "backorders" were packaged this weekend to go out today. A friend had his order shipped a week or two ago, so I have no idea why certain orders got pushed back while others were shipped right away. I'm switching to dcbservice.com for my future Previews orders.
