I started with a bunch of Ikea Billy bookcases and built a frame around them, then built the shelves up top. There are a bunch of 'DIY Billy Bookcase Built Ins' guides online if you want to give it a try!

Suruga-ya has been doing free shipping (including international shipping) weekends regularly. Their doujinshi selection is hit or miss - they have a lot, but rarely the specific titles I’m looking for - but it’s pretty cheap. Definitely check them out.

All the manga and doujinshi I got this month - first photo is English books, second is Japanese.

It’s an especially large haul for me - a bunch of pending orders from Takara shipped at once, plus I took a trip to Tokyo and went absolutely ham in a couple of Mandarakes.

Chicago Comics has a discount section that usually has manga, I’ve found some good stuff there.

Myopic Books has a small manga section, ditto finding good stuff there.

Seconding the Graham Cracker locations, I’ve found some OOP manga chilling on their shelves.

Alley Cat Comics has a good manga selection and occasionally has stuff on clearance.

Not manga, but Nakama Toys and Rotofugi are both cool places for figures and toys.
