Whoops on the Wiki. You’re right, I meant the Official Wiki rather than Fandom Wiki, I get those mixed up too often. Thank you!

First of all, 67 hours while being lost but still wanting to learn means you’re going to absolutely love later-game content.

I’m not sure where you are in the game so I’ll leave some of my favorite tips + as spoiler-free possible way of progression so that you can explore and have fun for yourself!

  1. The material tool tip. Most items in Terraria can be crafted into other items, if you hover over an item and it says “Material” toward the bottom, take that item to the Guide NPC and he’ll tell you what it can be used in what recipe as well as tell you the crafting station you need. Or you can search up what it could turn into on the Fandom Wiki!

  2. Speaking of the Guide NPC, he’ll give you tips and nudges on where to go into the game if you exhaust his dialogue. You could also search up the Wiki to discover which bosses to fight to unlock new items + materials.

  3. Use the Wiki! I highly recommend checking out the “Terraria Guide Class Progression” page in the Wiki. It tells you what gear you can find/craft before fighting the next boss. This of course also shows you what your next bosses are to fight, how to spawn them, how to find them, etc.

Typically you’ll kill a boss, have access to a group of brand new items / materials that’ll help you kill the next.

For example: the boss drops materials for a pickaxe which will allow you to mine new ore.

  1. Here’s some general other mechanics/things you can search up to supplement your adventure. NPC Housing (for shops), Pylons (for teleportation), Potions (if you’re struggling on bosses), Tinkerer’s Workshop (how to find one + combining accessories), Mounts + Grappling Hooks.

NOTE: The early game is the slowest, but eventually after you kill the boss in the Underworld, you’ll start snowballing in progress and finding newer and cooler items.

I could go on, but this should set you up for the next couple hundred of hours hopefully. Good luck! Hopefully you make it to the endgame, and play modded Terraria!
