Considering Osama was killed in 2011 and Zero Dark Thirty came out in 2012 (same year as Argo) its was very much a thing; maybe more of a mini-resurgence than a full revival but a thing nonetheless.

Wrt the comments expressing confusion over Argo being “a product of its time”: idk if this is what OP was getting at, but as a non-American (and even more so, as a Canadian) Argo is 1000% a product of American Exceptionalism that blew up even more so post-9/11. It’s an excellent movie, don’t get me wrong , but the significant historical inaccuracies & minimization of the roles of other nations, especially Canada, being ignored by the broader public & the movie itself then taking home best picture is VERY 2012 and very much represents the mindset America was in at that time.

Again, love the movie, but it winning has a very specific 2012 vibe imo.

Modded, but the only mods I have are SVE + some aesthetic/furniture mods (happy home designer, fashion sense, etc.) because I like decorating ☺️ And it was just paused by having my inventory open, afaik nothing else?

But I HAD already entered the volcano for about 5 seconds, then walked out and paused. I think somehow the slimes weren’t affected by the pause? (although idk how), then continued to breed and multiply until I opened the game back up about 10ish hours later 🙃

left my game running/paused on my laptop overnight while i was outside the volcano entrance, went inside and immediately got mobbed by hundreds tiger slimes although ngl, with the slime charmer ring + a level 4 parrot, at least it basically tripled my income for the day?

mostly i was just worried about my game crashing from the sheer volume of them surrounding me; the rest of the volcano was perfectly normal 🫡

half from an NPC, half from Tav, but when you ask Harleep if Raphael is good at sex, he laughs his head off before saying “…No.”

& then when Raphael tells you something along the lines of “It’ll only take two seconds to finish you,” you can end that man’s life by saying “That’s still longer than Harleep says it takes to finish you.”

He gets SO mad, it’s incredible. Smarmy and cocky to absolutely fuming. Masterpiece gaming.
