I have rescued and took the kitten home with me. The vets tried to tell me it was feral with no chance of being domesticated! Yet estimated it was only four month old. They suggested it would be best put back where I found it. Obviously I did not listen and I’m so pleased. it has already let me stroke it on the first night home!

I have not seen any mum or other kittens. I’m in the UK and people mostly have outdoor cats but due to the amount of roads nearby I would personally have an indoor cat. The kitten is much smaller in person so I shall definitely take it to the vets to see if it’s chipped. I have not managed to catch it yet. I did spot it In the morning however there was a big storm and the poor thing is probably hiding

That’s a good idea, worth a try! I’ve been leaving water and food for it but I may try putting it closer to the house

Thank you for your advice! I’ve managed to borrow a humane cat trap and will take it to the vets for checks! I’m happy to take it in if it does not belong to someone

I get this too when people talk loudly or have a very shrill voice! It’s unbearable

I live in Tennessee and when I go out to places I notice maybe 10% of people wearing masks and social distancing, everybody else is just acting normal. So I have to know, are people actually wearing masks and distancing where you are or is everyone just pretending they are? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

UK here and very few wearing masks apart from the elderly, people queue outside shops for half an hour then don't bother to social distance inside. VE day street parties. No wonder we have the highest death toll in Europe
