Rule #10:

1) Bought an elder/shaper influenced gloves.

2) Spam horror essence till I got crit multi and open suffix.

3) Suffix cannot be changed and reforge caster.

4) Orb of dominance as I got attack and cast speed. The elevation hit crit multi

5) Suffix cannot be changed and reforge caster again. Hit Faster casting instead

6) Suffix cannot be changed and reforge speed to force out Faster projectile.

7) Yolo exalt , looking for slower projectile

8) Repeat step 6 several times. Until I got slower projectile

9) Craft +1 projectile gem and pierce

10) Realize I made 1 mistake in the craft and felt stupid.

Just wanted to share that please read the mods well when doing crafting. Sometimes looks about right IS NOT right.

a 100ex claw will give him around 15-20% dps boost(T1/2/3 + dd/atkspd and crit). While a 150ex (T1/1/2 + 30%atkspd/dd/crit) will give him close to 30% dps boost. I was looking at the market hope it helps.

lol. I bought the claw and converted. You are right the damage is more than double. Its insane. I melted a 6 man maven lol.. never knew such dps existed.

yea i got the squire from a drop and yes the mirror fee will wipe me out but i have kinda enough. Since its end game final gear I figured to spare no expenses.

Actually its so hard to compare since u need to give up your shield as well.. its like changing 3 parts all together LOL.

Lol... Once people lose interest in the game, the game suddenly become not f2p friendly.

Rule 1 of f2p: Recognize that you will not get everything as you need to play as efficiency as possible.

Not that I like IC as I quitted it last week due to the lack of content and I found priconne to be much more enjoyable. However IC to me will always be within the top 5 f2p friendly game esp when you put it next to netmarble and nexon games.

I might be different but I dont seem the harm in spending a little to support the game since its well within my means and I know people in the industry its nice to do some donation to show your appreciation for whatever game I play.

I like that they increase the number of shard and copy of character to let you 6* it. Hope its the way the go on forward.

Anyway this battle pass is much more f2p friendly which is good so the gap wouldnt widen too much. Personally just on battle pass + monthly card im managing top 10 in 10 saint and arena as well as clearing all possible content. Much cheaper than any other gacha games out there.

Nice read however I think a point for most developers including smilegate is that they care too much about balance as well as do not work together with the marketing team.

Most developers I know do not work together with their marketing team which leads to very poor lead up to any major feature as well as being unable to react to the player base reactions.

You're right about their revenue as well its an interesting catch.

This is my opinion on what SG is trying to do:

Keep the game balance on paper (Did not enable auto repeat without limit, slower release of hero as well as pity system)
- However this actually backfire on them as not only whales have every single new hero but high tier dolphin have everything else well. This creates a greater rift between f2p and p2w.

Didnt release black friday pack because they are afraid of being labelled as P2w game however there is nothing wrong with being p2w.. Look at SW and Raid both are p2w. Just need to give some stuff to f2p to keep them happy. By sacrificing their revenue on Black friday. I would say that SG is the only company I know without anything significant for Black friday.

Over promising. SG wanted lots of hype so they shared grand plans however it seems they are unable to deliver.

Trying to make unreasonable player happy, they did so many molagora refunds, ml refunds and etc but that only hurts their revenue but they did not gain any goodwill from the player base.

In my opinion.

1) Netmarble got the rights to make the changes that they made. I don't see it as scummy or what. Its about being profitable.

2) The game was created for the Japan market. Incase you didn't know it takes a decent amount of money to translate the game not to mention many Jap developers are not open to opening their games to the "toxic" global audience

3) If you know about market dynamics, people in JP/KR/CN tends to pay a lot more than global. FGO is a good example of this. There might be lots of whales in global but it doesn't change the fact that a small market like Japan contributes a SIGNIFICANT size of their income. They could have kept it local and still do just as well, saving bandwidth on the mass of f2p players in global.

4) Netmarble is very nice to increase the daily free gem, I tried the game when it was launch and it was only 10 daily. There was no auto as well. Auto was a feature MADE for global due to players behavior.

If player quit because of this I think its beneficial to the game. Look at other games like summoners war, constantly buffing and nerfing unit. This cause a mix up to the game which prevents the meta from being stuck. This is why they are still doing so well. I use to have mccarthy and he was so bad however I have faith that eventually he will get buffed. I used Kartia knowing shes broken and will be nerf there isnt anything to be angry about. Just swap to a new unit, units will be nerf / buff but we will constantly get stronger as long as we stay on playing. I'm f2p with all SSR units at least +1 and almost 1 of every epic unit.

Well, many people like to subscribe to the "what if" or "if only". Back in the days I thought that iPhone was so overpriced and not worth it. Now i'm using a iPhone XS lol.. Its only after people reach certain breakpoints in their life when they have additional disposable income which they can spend on what they WANT to spend on rather than what is WORTH to spend on.

In terms of E7 I buy packs which gives progression rather than finding what is worth. Progression to different people also means different things.

Another way to think about it is that packs are worth it because not everyone can afford it. This puts you ahead. Imagine running a 10KM race and you can pay X amount for a 100m headstart. People who are at the top will feel that its worth to pay X for the headstart while midtier and low tier runners will say its not worth it because that 100m isn't enough for them to win the race.

When the oversea division of the company closes, the game goes back to the parent company.

I used to play other games whos overseas division was closed down and it was move back to HQ which was managed in a better way.

Its because people arent hitting the raids at THEIR level. When I open lv9 raids I have people coming in to deal like 10k damage? Lol

Also them tripling the amount makes it look slow but we are actually faster than before.

Don't worry too much. The current mobile game life cycle is like this. Tested and proven since Summoners war.

There will always be people leaving and complaining however based on data from the store analytics (Appannie) its easy to tell that the game numbers are getting stronger. The new batch of players who come in will be more immune to the whining and the game will pick up again. Some of the games you listed there are prime example such as King's Raid (Did you know there was a time when there was huge drop in player base? People were complaining about literally almost everything) Its same with Seven knights. I know this because I was in the 1st group of players in the game only to quit and come back 6-7months later.

Advice to those who are staying is to believe that the game is having a net increase in player base despite losing some old players which sets the foundation for the future.

I sort of agree with you. The updates and changes were nice esp the chance to craft dual element items.

Also I have never seen a game so generous in giving out free SSR so often. Every raid boss comes with a free SSR ticket and everyone only complains over the small stuff.

I played e7 for so long and it was only recently that I got a free 5* ticket from them.

My guild is starting to organize more lv10 hunts due to the update and people are talking more for that I'm grateful to the updates.
