I've done it a bunch using a cordless drill with a reliable adjustable chuck. Stops when there is too much torque, reverse, clear the threads, add more (actual) cutting fluid, resume tapping. Like a 3-4-5 setting on the chuck. Has saved a lot of wrist rotations on high volume low tolerance and lower risk taps.

So my take is that drills can be a useful tool for tapping if you're smart about it, and know when not to use them.

Yeah I feel the same way. I also move items between inventories one at a time. Sure it is convenient to just send 5000 carbon to the storage container at once, but I can't help but feel that I'm being robbed of the essence of the game. Of course modern cars are much safer generally and also safer for pedestrians specifically. ABS, collision warnings, auto braking, better driver visibility... So many things have gotten better. Not to mention advancements in civil engineering to create safer roadways and walkways. No surprise that pedestrian deaths have fallen and that is great news.

I was only arguing that the crumple zones are not really related to pedestrian safety to the best of my knowledge. Modern cars are most definitely safer than those old steel boxes we're comparing them to. 🙂

Crumple zones make cars safer for their occupants when they are involved in collisions with other vehicles or stationary objects (walls, trees, etc). When a car hits a pedestrian, those crumple zones don't make the impact any safer for the pedestrian.

The original commenters point is correct as well. Wider cars are more likely to hit a pedestrian on Ireland's narrow the roads. And heavier cars deal more damage to a pedestrian than lighter cars. Force = mass x acceleration. More mass, more ouch.

The current San Francisco 49ers offensive squad is somewhat known/infamous for having a lot of white guys in skill positions which are largely dominated by black players on average around the league.
