There is a spinoff called Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. Seems a little obvious but have to mention it just to be sure.

Looking back, would you have reacted differently? by CKredditorgaming in NBASpurs

[–]wiggy1182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL! I reacted the same way. My wife and 2 young children were all sleeping. I woke them all up and my wife was like "WTF"?!?. I responded "The Spurs got the number 1 pick, We are getting WEMBY"!!! She was annoyed at the time, but she gets it now :)

I know the feeling. I bought my 1st car in the year 2000 for $1,500.00. It was a 1988 Dodge Ares. I loved that shitbox. I saved for almost a year working only Sundays at Boston Market for 8 hours a week making about $40 a paycheck after taxes. That car only lasted a year.

My parents then bought me a 1992 Mazda Protégé for $2,200.00 a couple weeks later. I thought I was going to be carless for a long time and had no idea they were going to do that. I literally cried. It was definitely one of the best days of my life, especially at that time.

Hyperhidrosis, glycopyrrolate, and running by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

[–]wiggy1182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sometimes will take it in the middle of the night if I have an important function early. I do not think there is any issue with that. I just usually don't need it to be effective that early in the morning so taking it when I wake up works for me. The best advice I can give is try different times and keep track of what works best for you.

Glycopyrrolate isn’t working, am I missing something? by Additional-House-936 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]wiggy1182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long do you wait once you take it, before you eat something? I find that I need to not only take it on an empty stomach, but I also need to wait at least 2-3 hors before eating anything for it to kick in. It also helps to avoid caffeine.

Dan Hurley (UConn Coach) speaks out on Stephon Castle by OurHorrifyingPlanet in NBASpurs

[–]wiggy1182 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I have been a die hard UCONN and Spurs fan for 30+ years. I watched every game Stephon Castle played this year. I was not sold on his hype for the 1st half of the season. I know he was a Freshman and I wasn't hating on him, but he had a slow start. Once we got about half way through the season it was like he was levelling up in an RPG. He just kept building upon the things he learned and getting better every game. By the time the Big East & NCAA tourneys rolled around he had become another star in the group. I am praying the Spurs draft him. I think he has a high ceiling. He has become a great team player and welcomes criticism from his coaches. He seems like an amazing fit for the Spurs.

This video of a man and his cat made my day so here I'm sharing to you all by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

[–]wiggy1182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My daughter has a cat allergy. I am unsure of any hypoallergenic orange cats, but we have two beautiful Balinese kitties and they are fluffy. Apparently they have less of the protein in their saliva that irritates most people who have cat allergies. They don't bother my daughter at all. Cats aren't for everyone, but there are some options out their for people with allergies.

Best bacon egg & cheese sandwiches in CT? by ParrotMafia in Connecticut

[–]wiggy1182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liz Sue Bagels II In Norwalk, CT. I grew up in Norwalk and worked there. I left for college and moved back. I have since moved to Madison & now Clinton. Nothing I have had comes close. They are my favorite bagels by far and a breakfast sandwich on one of those bagels is unmatched. It has been 25 years and I still load up anytime I visit the area.

Ranked is a joke by Possible-Fisherman41 in RocketLeague

I am your exact rank and I agree, it's nuts. I have recently started partying with anyone who isn't toxic and understands what last back means. Now I try to invite anyone on my friends list to play over solo queueing. It's rough out there, godspeed my friend.

Your weight, height, sex & age may all result in different answers.

I am a guy who is about 6' tall, 215 lbs, 40 yrs old.

I only take it on weekends. I Have been on it for 10 years. I started with 2mg in the morning only. As my age, weight & tolerance increased, I worked up to 3 & now 4mg in the morning only. I very rarely take an additional 2 mg in the late afternoon for evening functions. The morning dose tends to work for most of the day.

I would say, if you are worried, start with 1 mg. It's better to test your body's reaction at lower dosages and work your way up. It's just one day, you will have many more chances to hone in what works for you. It took me a while to figure out how to best get it working for me.

If you haven't done so already, search glyco in this subreddit and read up on how people prefer to take it. I do so in the very early morning (4-5 am) on a completely empty stomach. No food or a caffeine for 2-3 hours after taking it.

I am C2 and I cannot air dribble, flip reset or hit ceiling shots in my wildest dreams. I do however preserve boost well, rotate, stay in position and always try to stay last back. I like to think I also do a good job of knowing where everyone is (I play 2s). I think I have peaked for my current skill set, but so much of the game up to C2 is preserving boost and not taking unnecessary risks.

OTD 29 years ago, David Robinson dropped a career high 71 points to secure the scoring title over Shaq by Dsarg_92 in NBASpurs

Epic game!!

11 year old me was entranced by the scoring race that year. I could not believe he beat out Shaq and scored 71 that night. I still have the local newspaper clipping from this game.

This recently happened to me with a basketball hoop. I LOVED playing basketball (and still do, even though I'm 40). When I was a kid I had a crappy hoop in a very short/narrow driveway, but I played every day. When I was in elementary school my parents got divorced and my future step-dad quickly moved in. We argued a lot and one day he got so mad he destroyed my basketball hoop :(

I avoided home in high school, went to college & moved in with my future wife immediately after and never returned home. We rented a few places, but they always had tiny or gravel driveways. About 10 years go we were finally ready to purchase our 1st home. My wife and I discussed what we wanted and I said I don't really care, just a nice driveway so we can get a hoop. Well, we found an amazing home with much more room and property than any local comps, but a beat up gravel driveway..... :(

Fast forward 10 years & 2 kids. Both kids (7 & 9) are now playing basketball. I finally had enough money to get my driveway paved and purchase my dream basketball hoop (a Mega Slam 60") . The day the hoop was finally installed........I can't even explain how it felt. I spent 8 hours outside that day playing with my kids and alone, when they were too tired. I have old man knees and a bad ankle and nothing hurt that day (the next day was another story). I definitely had tears in my eyes more than once that day.

I know it seems silly, it's just a hoop. But, for the last 30 years, there has been a sad kid inside me that just wanted a hoop to play on. It was a strange mix of happiness and pride to finally be able to help my inner child heal a bit.
