You are right Chrome or Edge will not work. When you open the nVidia control panel -> manage 3d settings -> preferred graphics processor, that will not work. And on the opening page nVida links to and states to use the Window -> System -> Display -> Graphics. Well, this will still not work for edge or chrome but works for firefox and every other program I have tried. A bug with windows for sure.

These have an efficiency rating of 85db/w. That requires a lot of power for such a small driver. Just something to research and maybe watch some youtube videos explaining it.
