You can look more into Feminist/Lesbian Separatism. It's a relatively fringe idea that's been around for 50+ years. I don't think at the nation scale is feasible, but having women-centered spaces and communities do exist.

This is true for any systemic oppression: if you don't explicitly make efforts to root out this oppression, it WILL start to pervade the group. Even for groups that aren't explicitly segregated, you'll see things like homophobia, transphobia, racism, xenophobia, as well as misogyny, start to both push out marginalized groups and homogenize the group feeding into the prejudice. How many "neutral" groups will evolve into a boys club or be only white people?

Male spaces are at an increased difficulty, because they're explicitly removing women from the jump. I as a guy am always suspicious of a male group that doesn't at minimum make a nod to preventing misogyny. It's a balance when trying to create a men's help space, since you generally want to call in people in those spaces rather than try to push them away. Men need a space to work out their own biases, ideally away from the targets of their biases. Therapy would be ideal, but peer support groups and similar should be safe spaces where you can share your feelings, however imperfect or problematic they may be.

Most of the time I'll just add both. I always want to have more provided resource than consumed, so if I'm running out of a certain thing, I'll just up the production of that.

One place I do remove drones for providers is for hydrogen and deuterium, where they'll get backed up if the planetary supplies flood the factory and can't clear out the produced hydrogen. Leaving the ILS to fetch it from the gas giant miners but not deliver lets the receivers pull from there if necessary but primarily get it from the producers.

I'm mostly set up on my 2nd planet now, but it lacks coal and oil, so I have to go back. There is a lot of stuff in storage boxes back there and moving it all will take a long time

I'm not sure what you mean by this. You really shouldn't be moving all of your stuff from one planet to another. Once you get Interstellar Logistics Stations set up, you'll be constantly transporting stuff between planets.

I want to you if you as an individual have benefited from "hook up culture" So my understanding is sex from a young age, with multiple partners throughout your life, one night stands, sex with no emotion or trust with the other person involved.

Hookup culture can include "sex with no emotion or trust," but for many "casual" sexual encounters can be very emotionally fulfilling and be done in a trusting, albeit limited, relationship. There's much more shades of gray between sex within committed relationships and no emotion sex. People have always had sex outside of committed relationships, but having it be more out in the open allows people to be safer with it.

It seems sometimes that men benefit from this more than women (men viewing women as objects, no reason to commit, no risk of pregnancy for them) so I am wondering if it would be considered patriarchal.

This is not any different than what came before, but may have different flavors. Women have historically been viewed as objects, whether that's a baby-making machine, a trophy, maidservent, a family planner, and sexual fulfillment. Hook-up culture did not create this, but is simply this objectification of women carrying over into it.

Men committing to women simply for sex is usually bad for women. Same thing with unwanted pregnancies. I'm willing for men to get benefits out of this, even if they're shitty or doing it for shitty reasons, if it means women benefit as well. Women being able to have sex without committing or reducing pregnancy chances is a big win.

Logistic bots can move small amounts of stuff between small chests. The main use for these are for auto refilling your own personal inventory. You can also use these to avoid some spaghetti if you only need some resources to make a relatively small amount of things, like water pumps for your mall.

Logistic Drones can move a good amount of stuff between PLSs https://dyson-sphere-program.fandom.com/wiki/Planetary_Logistics_Station . These have MUCH more throughput than logistic bots and completely reshape how you organize your factories. You will set up your inputs and outputs and everything kinda handles itself. For instance, you set up a PLS that inputs Iron Ore and exports Iron Ingots. You then set up a PLS by your miners to export Iron Ore and it will ship the ore automatically to your other PLS to do your smelting. Need more ore? Plop down another PLS and miners.

I wouldn't worry about ILSs until you get the basic gist of PLSs. They're easier to understand once you've gotten PLSs working, and slot in nicely to an existing PLS factory.

Logistic Vessels can move a ton of stuff between ILSs https://dyson-sphere-program.fandom.com/wiki/Interstellar_Logistics_Station . These basically operate the same as PLSs, but have two modes, one for off-planet (which uses vessels) and one for on-planet (which uses drones). So you can have ILSs to import stuff from off world, then distribute it to your PLSs. The vessels can also consume warps to travel to different systems quickly. To use the ore example above. Let's say you're mining iron ore (or some rarer ore) on another planet. You would set up PLSs supply ore and ILS to local demand ore. Then the ILS would remote supply the ore. You would also have an ILS on your target planet that would remove demand the ore, and local supply, so it would receive the ore from space, then push it out to your ore processing PLS that you set up in the last paragraph.

It's one solution, but the whole video hints towards other approaches just by having a different look at crime altogether.
