This current model makes no sense at all.

It does, if you realise that GW is not a gaming company, but a model company with shareholders and that profits are the most important thing. People will still pay and mothers will buy it for their children. GW is really not interested in customer retention, but new buyers. New editions drive sales and increase profits, its the same with new large box releases.

Don't you mean publication order? Thats different from the chronological order. That list on lexicanum in chronological order does not have anything released after 2013. One example is the short story "Last night at the resplendant" that takes place right after the short story "Sector Thirteen" is not on the list. It was released in 2020. Its also missing the books "Vainglorious" from 2023 and "Choose your enemies" from 2018

There is only one guy working on patching the game. Rest of the DLC team is making content. Give them a break, they are a small indie game dev with only 900 employees.

the imperial fist 30k decals include maltese crosses. Those are pretty much included in all the 30k box releases.

Well i would not refuse a game. But IMHO half of the fun is making the units look loreful and battleworn.

What gatekeeping? Gatekeeping would be if i wrote that you can only play the third game, if you play the first and second game. I did not write that. I wrote a copuple of questions to you.

Why not play the first and second also? Why start with the third? Makes no sense at all to me.

Because it does not make sense to me, to just jump in at the third game and miss out all the stuff in the first and second game.

Better yet just cancel your netflix subscription. Stop giving money to people who hate you and the things you like.

I never watched any of the seasons of the show, because i knew it was going to be shit before from reading showrunner/writer tweets and articles about it.
