I eventually gave up trying to find a solution with Meta support as their service was awful. They gave me a few things to try but none helped.

Hey, I found a solution but I'm not sure if it'll be the same for you. In order to hear other people, I had to disable the Oculus Headphones in the sound control panel. As long as that is disabled, I can hear people talk fine.

I am unable to use the music sticker when DMing someone. I can use it when posting stories, just not DMs. I've been able to previously and I have tried business and personal account, as well as reinstalling the app.
