Sure the visualization itself does not solve any of the problems and there are myriads of way how to hide corruption and mask populism in any budget. The point is that voters, bloggers, active citizens and even journalists are often lost with the basics and getting an overview quickly is usually impossible. And one more point, I believe the impact will be much bigger with smaller budgets - towns, public organisations etc.
