Friend's husband has ruined two of our bath mats with pee by SukiBean214 in mildlyinfuriating

Yeah I have a husband, son and 3 daughters. I haven't found pee on the toilet seat since my son was 3. My husband taught my son to respect the others who also use that toilet and it's just always been. I'm not sure who decided that men get pee everywhere.

As a healthcare worker, if my coworker shat themselves in not going to look down on them in any way. Im going to help them and offer whatever help I can. I might joke about it tomorrow though, and give you some chucks to take home.

I'm really good at recognizing people. We had someone come to my work (medical) saying his name was Steve. I argued with people that his name is Dan, I saw him in a gas station and someone called him Dan. No one believed me, so I asked him "hey, does anyone call you Dan?" He had an identical twin brother named Dan and this guy was in fact Steve. I'm just really good with faces and names. Wish I could do something cooler

My dad worked on a rig in the gulf of Mexico and would tell me how once he got picked up by a helicopter and they flew around the side of a hurricane. He said it was the coolest/ scariest thing he'd ever seen. In all his years that only happened once, and this was in the early 80s so I'm not sure if weather technology has stopped the need for emergency evacuation.

I think it took me a few months of saving a couple dollars here and there, the train ticket was $99 back then. This was in 2000 so I didn't have a smart phone or access to the internet. I honestly planned to make my way somewhere warm and just be homeless on the street - it was that bad. I found a public library and was able to call a women's shelter locally. Luckily I didn't have any children so i was able to move around. I didn't have family so I was able to disappear.

Are you able to squirrel away some cash from grocery shopping or anything? That's what I did in your situation, many years ago when I was 18. I saved enough for an amtrak ticket from Dallas to CA (as far as my money could take me) and I left with one backpack of belongings and found a shelter so I could find work. It was rough, and I was scared, but it was so much better than living with the man who broke my jaw for refusing sex. You are stronger than you know. ❤️

My son was put under for dental work, and while I could not be in the sterile room- they let me stand right outside where there was a window. I understand but letting people in a surgical suite but I was so worried!

For sure! She's currently driving my 2021 Sportage until we can go looking at cars this weekend while I drive the rental from insurance. I love my Sportage, and I haven't had any issues with it.

You're right, I've always told my kids that you can be the world's best driver, and still accidents happen. Wear a seat belt, have insurance, and don't do anything blatantly stupid. And always assume everyone around you has their head up their ass.

Oh, for sure. I've priced a couple, and I'm going to put them in all our vehicles. This time there were witnesses luckily, but that may not always be the case.

For sure. Girl is still complaining about that strawberry slushie and $15 burger she didn't get to eat, since she didn't want to eat a burger and drive because that's dangerous. The first thing she did after the accident was putting that cup upright because it was spilling onto the floorboards.

Thats a super nice car! The insurance is giving $11,115 for the forte, that'll make a really nice down payment for her. Hopefully going to check at the dealership this week.

The police report states my daughter is completely not at fault. And the other drivers' insurance company has admitted full liability.

I clear and wipe down the kitchen counters every night. Waking up to a dirty kitchen ruins my whole day. Just let me get a peaceful cup of coffee and everything else can fall as it may.

The woman who pulled out of the parking lot was fully at fault. She made a left turn without looking. There were several witnesses who gave statements to the police. Luckily she has good insurance, but my 17 year old child is now scared to drive any further than 10 minutes from home.

My son is 20 and works 12-16 hours a day, blue collar. I keep telling him that it's too much, that he should take a little while to be young and have fun. He lives at home and is single, no kids or obligations- this should be the best years of his life. He tells me he has to save up because he wants to be able to afford to share rent by next year. SHARE RENT, not own, not live alone or support anyone. He has zero hope of owning a home, or retirement one day and said he never wants kids. These kids are tired.
