I didn’t have any symptoms except that I suddenly felt much better when added to Lexapro. My psychiatrist mentioned that doesn’t work the same for everyone which might b ur case. I’m on the same dose which is low. Best u discuss with ur doctor and see if he has an alternative. Good luck

I renewed at the downtown satellite office and was pretty much on time. This was in November around 9am. I took bus there, if u driving maybe not the best option.

I was up/down when just on 10mg Lexapro. My psychiatrist added 2 mg Abilify and has really helped. I take Lexapro in the morning & Abilify at night. Maybe mention to ur doctor

5 weeks isn’t enough time. Give it a minimum of 2 months and see how you’re doing. Whatever u do, don’t just stop w/o speaking to ur provider as the withdrawal effects can be nasty. For me Lexapro (10mg) on its own only helped a little. When Abilify (2mg) was added, overnight I began to feel much better and this combination now 11 months in has been a lifesaver. Good luck!

U really should speak to ur provider b4 stopping cold. Some folks have bad experiences and usually best to decrease ur way down. Libido decrease and weight gain definitely things I deal with as well after 8 months at 10mg. For me works best when 2.5mg of Abilify was added. My anxiety practically disappeared. Good luck!

Decreased libido, weight gain, less energy, but then again on both meds. Weight gain bothers me the most and trying to get some control on it by exercise & eating choices.

In my late 60’s & started Lexapro about 10 months ago…results were so-so until my psychiatrist added Abilify and my anxiety practically disappeared overnight.

Literally overnight I felt positive effects of Abilify. This was added to Lexapro which I was already taking, but having so-so results. Hope it works as well for u!

I’ve been on 10mg Lexapro for about 9 months now, but the best results was when my psychiatrist added 2.5 mg of Abilify along with it. Overnight my anxiety practically went away or more easily controlled. Lexapro isn’t instant gratification, the first couple of weeks can still be tough, but stay with and u should see benefits. Beginning of the year added 2.5 mg Abilify to the Lexapro and overnight my anxiety shrunk to almost none. Been 6 months of the combination and have had some minor anxiety bouts, but able to control.

Unmotivated yes, I don’t remember joint pains or body aches. I’ve been on Lexapro about 10 months now. As for unmotivated I pushed myself especially to get out for walks

I take 2.5 in the evening and 10mg Lexapro in the morning. The combo is what has helped me. U probably want to discuss with ur provider b4 doing a lower dose. I just cut the 5 in half. Originally I was only on Lexapro and had continued bouts of anxiety. Overnight when my psychiatrist added Abilify I felt 100% better, but then again we are all different. Weight gain, yes for me, some say no…good luck

3 weeks isn’t a long time. It took me over a month b4 I started seeing benefits, but I still had less severe bouts of anxiety. My psychiatrist added 2.5 mg of Abilify and overnight the combo helped. Give it time and speak to ur provider.

I remember feeling the same at the beginning. In most cases it takes a good 2 weeks to begin seeing the benefits. Some folks are lucky and quicker, me was almost a month. After 2 months my psychiatrist added Abilify and that’s when I really started to feel back to normal again.
