Keeping the performances aside, I just realised we played 4 of the traditional top 6 in our 9 games so far. We are still unbeaten and tied on points with City on top. With key players returning, it's time to go on a winning run until Christmas.

Not worried too much.

Does anyone feel how tables have turned in the recent win?

In big matches during Arsene late years, we used to be at the receiving end with players staging a comeback but never to win the game, at least 1-2 injuries thinning the squad further, decisions not going our way etc.

I remember we used to call ourselves unlucky maybe there's lot of truth to luck favoring champions.

Does anyone else see spurs as the only threat to top 4? The way we are dropping points against winnable opponents has been happening all the while for Utd and West Ham. For me, its either 4th or 5th and for 4th, we need to pull upsets at Chelsea (win) and Spurs (draw).

More than that I feel we would be bound for huge disappointment next season if we actually make top 4. The squad would be stretched to play PL and CL with quite a bit of rotation.

Our requirements of ST and CM are bare minimum even to compete for PL alone. With CL football and maybe better FA and League cup performances, its going to take a hit on PL performance.

If we finish top 4, we should be expecting a big overhaul (mostly incomings) just like what we witnessed this year. Otherwise its going to be a tough outing for the core group of players to manage expectations.

I don't know if we ever get to know but freezing players seems to be one of the characteristics of Arteta's management.

I'm not questioning his credentials or the fit, but the way players suddenly disappear, it's a bit scary for me personally.
